Here we go again.

Hooray! Jetpack I envy you that CD.

By the way, Melody's message is here for anyone who would like to hear it (along with her first one, if you missed that).

hey! Alexa Webb updated her status on twitter :

Quote:
Late. Thinking something about the Palmer case doesn't line up. Well, a lot of things don't. I think more's going on than we're being told.

The purse wasn't there? Someone else got to it first? Sad Sorry you had to make the trip for nothing.

In other news, they've posted an excerpt from a new podcast on WKAP -- one that mentions RJ (knows the way). He's also mentioned in Jack's new MySpace blog entry, too. It looks as if RJ may be named for old blues musician Robert Johnson.

Edit: New site: http://fansofrobertjohnson.com/. With another keyless entry system.

I've tracked down the original cards from which these images were drawn. Observations:

1. All of the cards originally bore two dots.
2. "Turco" was originally #1.
3. "Malincolia" was originally #6.
4. "Falsita d'Amore" was originally #10.

Presumably the alterations are significant.

Further observation: Of the ten written lines, two mention "fury" and two mention "Turkish." The corresponding cards are the only ones with two dots on them.

*thwaps self for not seeing sekrit message*

Melody's real. You know that. You saw her.

If you have any concerns, you can leave her a message on her MySpace page. She invited it, in fact. You might even consider passing your phone number to Jack -- he obviously knows how to get in touch with her, and that would be a way to communicate to her privately.

But she's let it go. Remember?

Thanks for doing the hard part. Err, the first hard part.

Melody

Yes. She is real. And we have been in touch. That's why it feels like a betrayal for me. I hope that in the long run I am helping her. She knows I've got the purse. I hope she really has let go. Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Argh, I don't get it, what do you need to type in?

Edit: nevermind, got it with the koan hint, completely forgot about that story.

Re: Melody
Update

Melody has a new blog entry, and you have her blessing to share:

Melody Dean wrote:
I got to the internet cafe this afternoon to find a letter saying someone had found my purse. Someone saying they'd gone through my things, and wanted to show other people--

I can't deny a small twinge of panic.

But at the end of the day, I'm tired of keeping secrets. I have to believe things happen for a reason, and that I lost that purse for a reason.

Maybe it will bring Amanda back. I don't know. At this point I'd share everything if it meant I could find her.
