Got a text today (4 actually, but they were duplicates) from 839-60

Quote:

Thanks for interest in Vital-Orbit (TM)
To receive info, visit Jejune Institute

After induction, further intelligence.

The only places I've called are the Jejune Institute and EPWA. Anyone else get this text.

P.S. Vital Orbit is the personal forcefield project from jejuneinstitute.org, if anyone has a memory lapse (I had to check and make sure myself.)

EPWA - Website Down...

For some reason it seems as though EPWA's website has been taken down. It's not that it's inaccessible, it's been totally taken down. Including all the files that were on the server. We can't even get to the background image.

Spec is either Jejune got to them or that this is on hold atm. Either way we'll keep everyone posted. Also if we find out this is still on we're talking about having a little get together party the night of the countdown. We don't know if the countdown has changed at all but it should reach midnight on 10/19/2008 at 00:00:00 (This Sunday at 12 AM). We'll all be in the IRC channel to wait and see what might happen. BTW we've already tried setting the system clocks forward. Nothing is triggered so this is going to be a manual event.

--Edit--
EPWA seems to be back online. No New Updates...

Hey Liz, here is a walkthru that can help you with the next step

What you need is a phone number
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1-415-704-0997

It's eddie's voicemail... he tells you what to do next....

And to everyone else! Since Sunday's coming up so fast.... what do you think will happen? New RW hunt? New webpage? EPW "showing" it's true colors? A recruitment of some sort?

I think they are going to call more attention to Eva... asking us to find her.

Did anyone notice that the clock simply started going forward at midnight. I was disappointed.

Umm... no it didn't... you might want to clear your browser's cache, try again, and then come join us in the IRC channel

I think someone had mentioned that same problem in the IRC channel about using some version of Safari on a Mac...

the rainbow
i talked to "jeff" from nonchalance

hi everyone,
i just recently got on this jejune stuff! im really excited.
my friend did the scavenger hunt yesterday, and the secretary gave him a phone number to call "if things got weird"
we called the number later, and it was "jeff" from nonchalance.

after the countdown last night (we projected it onto a screen) i got really frustrated and decided to call jeff again. he actually picked up and said this was his private line and it was not the right channel to figure it out. i asked him what the rainbow was, he said i would get a reply if i sent out some emails...he also let it slip that this was a game. i said "so this IS a game" and he said something along the lines of no, its not. i stated "im merely using the words that you used to describe it".

anyhow after our conversation, he sent me a text message saying i was on the right track...
