it might be because you need adobe flash player these are the place to download it:

windowsPC: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

macintosh: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

click on the site that relates to your type of computer and then click install so that you can get adobe flash player if this doesnt help sorry

or if its asking for a code you might have to buy the book and enter the cards codes before you are aloud on the site if you are not in UNITED STATES, AUSTRALIA, CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC), IRELAND, NEW ZEALAND, OR THE UNITED KINGDOM

now we have to wait three days before we can start doing the first mission im to impationt lol i want to do that all right now

I am not sure it has been discovered yet. There are rumors of people finding a second clue, but nothing confirmed yet. Also, those claiming to have it are not saying what it is nor how to get it... which leads me to believe that they are not being truthful.

There was talk on this board a few hours ago about how you can adjust the URL on the clue page (like you can with most URLs in the site) to bring up the URL for Clue 2... but all this does is give javascript errors and goes into a loop, continously reloading a webpage.

My surveillance camera codes are 22FC46MJX2 and 237DRWJJX2... use them and pass them on!

Just a question. When you guys trade cards, how do you mail them to each other. Just in a first-class regular envelope? Or do you add some protection?

I am in the US. When I traded some 400+ cards with someone in Aulstrailia, I put mine in one of those cardboard folders that you by card packs in (I had a few to spare), and put that in a bubble mailer. The guy in Aulstrailia said my cards arrived fine. I probably over did it, but since it was a trans-contanental mailing I didn't want to take the chance. On the flipside, he just put the cards he sent me in an regular mail envelope and they arrived bent (but not too bad). What I would recomend for most people is to re-enforce it with a piece of cardboard (part of a card pack folder would be good, or a remnent of a cardboard box would also work) and mail it in a regular business envelope. That should probably be ok for a few cards.

How I mail is use the silver packaging that comes around the cards originally and tape it shut. This keeps the cards together and mail them in a regular envelope. It keeps them together and they use each other as support. I received a single card from England and it wasn't damaged at all. I originally sent cards in bubble wrap envelope and had people complaining that my shipping and handling was too expensive.

trading cards: beware

Have any of you guys had issues trading cards. I for example had traded 4 cards, e-mailed the codes and the other person suddenly tells me he has no codes, he's sorry, but thanks me for mine( they worked! ).
Any advice on what I can do or how to avoid this issue next time?

BTW if any of you are serious traders and live in the US and willing to mail the actual cards I still need 16,24,29,42,50,52 and 65.
I can trade for almost any other cards. Thanks.

Howdy, I've been lurking here for a couple weeks and thought I'd involve myself a little bit more in all this.

Does anybody else think that there's a possibility that there's actually five family factions? You have the four main branches but there could also be the direct line, the trunk if you will. That might explain why Grace has Dan and Amy's parent's keep their mother's last name instead of taking on their dad's. Just seems like that would be a real possibility to me.

Also, if anybody has the 400 series cards for trade I have most of the cards available, though all the codes have been used. Any trades would just be for collection purposes.

if I understand things correctly, the codes from the 400 series cards are generally shareable, so they aren't one-time-use codes like the rest of the cards.

I have a 405 (printed as #2). I am reserving the last few I have though for other 400+ cards or a #60 (used or unused).

What I did was to make it very clear in an e-mail what I was giving and what I was expecting to recieve, being very specific (waiting for them to confirm this in e-mail). This guards against confusion on either side (or claims of not understanding later). If you don't feel that you can trust the other person for some reason, you can ask for an e-mail of someone who can vouch for them, or some other equivalant (such as their ebay name that contains feedback). Ultimately though, it comes down to just putting your faith in the other person. You could ask for them to mail the cards to you first, or to show proof of mailing before you maill; but they might ask the same thing for the same reasons you do. Once, when I traded a few valuable books with someone we agreed on the following series of actions:

I would send a PayPal payment to the person (enough to cover the cost of the book I was recieving if I would purchase it). Then, once they recieved the payment, would mail me the book. When I got it I would mail the book I was trading to them. When they got the book they reversed they PayPal payment back to me. In this case PayPal was used as a sort of "third party". If there was any dispute on either side, the PayPal payment would have been disputed or they would have just kept the money (the later if I just never mailed the book I was trading to them).

If you really are that worried about it though, I would suggest just buying the cards you want on Ebay. You can generally find a buy-it-now-or-best-offer auction where you can pick whatever cards you want. Most of them are offering free shipping when you buy 5 or more cards. They are asking 99 cents per card, but I was able to get my offer of 50 cents per card accepted (I wasn't asking for any rare cards) and since I was buying 7 cards, I got free shipping.

Hope this helps. If you want, you can have the two card codes in my sig for free Wink
