Hi! I'm working on a game, and would like some help from other players out there! Oh, my name is Sophi.
Okay, so I have a friend of a friend who works for Stillhet. I'm sure you've heard of Stillhet, they're a big company in the states now. Anyway, this friend passed along some interesting files and information to me, and I would love to make a game and expose this company for what they are. This all must seem really serious, I know, but this is going to be so fun.
Could anyone help me? I have to scan some of these files, and find a way to get these tapes onto my computer, but once I do I'll start passing stuff along to you.
Thanks! My dad always said, when one mega company falls, humanity rises.
Sophi~
Erm, down with Stillhet!
By the way, the only thing I can find for Stillhet is a black metal band from Norway (hey I can blissfully hope that we get a Metalocalypse type ARG where a band has become the world's largest economic superpower!)...and of course the Norwegian word.

I got this as well. It seems kind of odd, but I'll give it a go.

That email seems oddly on the borderline between in game and out of game. I will become involved if this becomes some weird meta thing like an arg about making an arg to expose stillhet.

asked for a website I wrote an email to Sophi, offering my help and asked her for the company's website, because I couldn't find one with a quick google search.
I also asked her, what kind of products Stillhet is selling. Here's her answer:
Quote:
Oh hum, I actually can't find a site for them. How weird, considering that every 12 year old out there has a site nowadays!
Well, they work on weapons and some other not-so-scary technology, for governments around the world. It's pretty strange that they supply everyone with weapons, from Russia to the USA to little Nauru. If they can afford it, at least.
They say in some of their papers that their main goal is to create world peace by snuffing out human error with their tech. But I don't think that's their catch phrase.
Sophi~
I will ask her for the material she spoke of earlier, maybe she scanned some of it already.

Seems like you might have hit that nail right on the head.

Nice to meet you too!
Well as I've said to the lots of others I contacted, Stillhet doesn't have a website for some odd reason. So I guess I should work on getting these files up for everyone to look at soon.
Do you want to be a character or would you rather work behind scenes?

That's a great attitude! More people should think like that!
I am worried that some of you might get stalked by Stillhet though, so take proper precaution if you post anything online once we get this going! Mask your IP address AND your mac address!
Sophi~
Ive always wanted my very own stalker <3

Edit: should I actually do that?
I'm enjoying the fast turnaround on E-mails too.

Just a quick question: Should I be responding/sending e-mails to this person making it sound like I really want to help create a game for her? I mean, I know it's a game and all, but I'm unsure if the other person receiving my e-mails might be wondering if I'm really trying to help.
Hmmm, maybe if I asked more questions. Eh!

You could hint that you know someone else who is on board and would like to help as well. Drop my name if you want.
Hey, My friend Krissy told me about this, and I really hate Stillhet, so I was wondering if I could join you guys?

Just sent her an email, and in the response she mentioned that her internet keeps cutting in and out and that she needs tapes converted to MP3. It's been a while without response, so I think I'll post this now and edit if I hear more.

She told me the same about her internet.
I asked her why she had chosen Stillhet to be exposed, because there are many companies that sell weapons. I asked her, if this friend she spoke of is still working for Stillhet and if she has already material to share with us. My last question was, if she is planning to start an ARG and if she had heard about such games. (Of course this was a totally ingame question )
Here is her answer:
Quote:
yeah, i wanna create ARGS. Sorry if this cuts out, but my internet is being super crazy today.
i've scanned a lot but i want some more before i lose it or something, so it'll have to wait.
the most i feel safe telling you right now is that they've been murdering people almost left and right. for various reasons. leaking info about their OS, quitting...
my friend still works there, but can you blame her? she doesn't want to get hurt o
Now I am totally confused Is this really an ARG about starting an ARG or are we communicating with one of us?

I'm joining you in your confusion but it will be interesting to find out how this develops.
So far my communication with Sophi(e) was more or less like everybody else's. Here's what she told me about Stillhet:
Sophie wrote:
... Yep! They do weapons and other tech, they apparently did work on a computer OS a long while back. I'm hoping to find out what OS they did work on so I can get it up and look through it, since it was part of some controversy in the company. Apparently someone working for them left some odd code in it . ...
