 Piece of cake

Quote:
the 3 clues so far....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Iron Solute
Uranium
Phosphorus

What could the 39 clues be? A new compund (that has 39 elements in it)? Some coded message?

Iron = Fe : Atomic Number = 26
Uranium = U : Atomic Number = 92
Phosphorus = P : Atomic Number = 15

So far there seems to be nothing significant about these and nothing really in common (other than they are all elements). Different number of valiance electrons. Not the same type of element (noble gas, halogens, one of the metal types, etc). Their atomic number and wights don't lend themselves to a code.

The symbol names are not spelling out anything yet (however, they might be jumbled).

So my two theories so far are that each of the 39 clues give a piece of a recipe to some powerful compound (maybe a safe way to create cheap and renewable energy?); OR that the 39 clues will be elements that when you convert them to their elemental symbol you get a word jumble that, when unscrambled, reveals some secret that leads to or is the power described in the book.

(alt+q)

Well, I was thinking about that and I reache a conclusion that... We are supposed to combine these elements somehow at some point during the hunt, but I believe people should be ready for a complicated task. They will probably demand some kills.

This first mission was really easy, but be aware... the next ones won't be that easy... I hope... hehehhehe

By the way... My surveillance camera code... 23CP9DMFX2

PS.: Could you people help about the MADRIGALS, I didn't quite understand what are they all about... Thanks! Very Happy

I went back to look after I read your post, but I don't see what you are referring to.

Did anyone else see it?

HELP!!! Bermuda triangle clue

So I've checked over the document for the Bermuda Triangle ZILLIONS of times and can only find four letter. Would someone please take pity on a poor desparate soul and tell me the answer? It's my last clue unsolved!

The three elemental ingredients we've got now plus the things that can be gleened from the site articles and cards has me thinking that the 39 clues are a formula for making gold.

There's the Rumplestiltskin card that implies that Cahills have a history of hiding the idea of easily created gold. There's also the implications of alchemy that keep popping up and alchemy's end goal was always lead into gold.

It also seems like that would be a big reason a family would split up - the loss of that type of power. It also stands to reason that the four branches work well for dealing with this sort of thing.

Janus' creative natures makes them ideal for think outside the box enough to come up with a way to pull something like this off, Ekats' scientific briliance gives them the ability to make it a reality, Lucian's cleverness and subterfuge makes them ideal to devise how best to use and hide the find, and the Tomas' raw physicality and fearlessness makes them perfect to defend it from any assault.

The thing missing would be a leader. All four branches have produced leaders, but it doesn't appear as though they had any ability to unify the family. Maybe that's what Grace is hoping Dan and Amy are able to do.

yes but what about lucian and janus dan is tomas and amy is ekat but there is no lucian or janus but there could be 2 people who join dan and amys team that are janus and lucian

i disagree about making gold the whole search couldnt be just for gold it can be for who ever gets to unify the four branches which would make sense that all the branches would want to win because then they would have someone in there branch that is contolling the other branches or unifing them i mean if the wrong people won then the world would fall apart because the people wouldnt no how to unify the branches correctly and remember the cahills are powerfull

I keep killing myself. Because this is for a child, maybe I should let my 7 year old play it.

Just curious, has anyone tried to create 4 different accounts? Would that be technically possible?

Yes it is possible but it requires four email addresses and careful answering of questions....

85 Inside The Shack?

Do you see the "85" on the chest in the background? It's just above the right corner of the banner. I guess I am just trying to find "ALL the secrets of the RMS Titantic". lol! Again, It may be nothing. You can click on the picture below to view it better.

Re: 85 Inside The Shack?
hint inside and outside the shack

I see it now!

I found something... perhaps a hidden hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There are a bunch of signal flags inside and outside the shack. They represent the letter M, which can only stand for... Madrigal!

Of course it is probably nothing.

I found these five for Message # 19 Find the Secret Code - Bermuda Triangle: Photo. Paragraph 3. Paragraph 5. Paragraph 6. Logo.

PS: I noticed I got a new message in my inbox today. Message # 25, which (unsurprisingly) gives you the link to Gordon Klose's blog.

Speaking of the madrigals, did anyone else notice the note by them from the third part of the briefing?

"The clue is not here. Abandon your search.
- The Madrigals"
