Maybe it's a harpy. The red body looks a lot like hair to me. I cought that lions body too, but sevral other sites I saw said that it could be either a lion or a bulls body, and still be a Lamassu. But your explanation looks better.

The bird? Who knows, the design behind the bird is celtic but I haven't heard any good explanations about what it is exactly.

After a bit of a Google:
St Columba was known as the Celtic Dove, and the name Calum/Callum is a modern name derived from the Celtic word for dove.
There was an earlier post about Ostara here from Barbarellany
Ostara - the Vernal equinox - is on 21 March this year (I checked as dates vary from year to year). From http://www.ctwpag.com/sabbats.htm ...also known as the Celtic Bird Festival; celebrates rebirth, revival and the ascendancy of light over dark. Symbols include eggs, animals include unicorns, goddesses include the Lady of the Lake, gods include Green Man, traditional activities include planting flowers. It is a time to start new ventures. (Only more relevant bits quoted!)
Symbolic that Dale is getting released on this day?

the point I'm gonna post something I mentioned in chat: I think that we're about to meet the real things that inspired these legendary characters. The creatures behind the myth.
That would be cool.

The unicorn? No good leads - the unicorn does have two tails and to me it seems the hind legs are not horse legs (not the hair) and remind me of satyr(goat) legs for some reason... so it could possibly even be bipedal
Looked to me like those found on Coats of Arms:
The heraldic unicorn has a horse's body, a single long horn, a lion's tail, tufted hocks and cloven hoofs like a goat
Known to represent a few different things...purity; courage; virtue; spring and strength.
(Since the reign of King Robert III in the late 1300s, the Unicorn has been a part of the official seal of Scotland)

I agree that the man-beast is a Lammasu.
Mark my surprise then, when I find the following:
http://www.web-services.org/Cart/ProductDisplay.asp?ProductCode=02100539
It is the same picture, sole difference being the black background on
the mythosphere website compared to the yellowish colour here.
Connection???
Check out the text that comes with The Bird:
ID: 02111855
Price: $45.00
Multi-colored bird

Did some research on the filler text...
It is jibberish, but the jibberish is derived from an ancient text from
Cicero entitled "De Finibus Bonorum Et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good
and Evil) circa 45 A.D.
This site has a good explanation and also has the translation of the
original text which is rather interesting...it has to do with pleasure
and pain...

There is something not-quite-right about the site with the mythosphere
graphics for sale. It appears to be unfinished or a work in progress
or... I don't know. I tried emailing their contact addie to ask for more
information about the artist and the email bounced. Their inventory is
small and the most expensive item in it doesn't have a workable image
and is described as "dasdadadasda." Weird, huh?

After discussion in chat and revisiting this Chat Express site, it was decided that a player was testing out the stores software program and, using the free admin access, was playing around with us.
Ignore the above findings.

Just a thought.
Could the light in the darkness be Venus as the morning star? By the time you see it in spring I believe it seems to be the only star as the others fade.

Spec:What is the 2nd step? In the email from a guide it says :
Every journey begins with one small step, the catalyst to change inertia to momentum. The length of the journey depends upon the direction of the second step.
Maybe I am being too literal, but the 2nd thing we click on is the moon (or did we decide that was pluto?). Could the distance from here to the moon be important?

Don't you mean the direction from here to the moon? Oh... I suppose that is quite relative.

Re: not so weird
The time shown on the clock is the time normally shown when a clock is put on display, especially when its for advertising purposes. With the hands in that position it allows for the hands to be clearly shows, most space to be seen of the face, and not interfere with the companys name which is normally marked in the face area above the six. So I do not believe that the time would actually means anything to us even if this were a real ingame site.

odd site it is an odd site. Look what's being sold. none of it is high quality art and certainly not really worth the price IMO the designs remind me of coloring book or children's book images and the blue graphics. Why would anyone be selling those they are common symbols
however If real I'm sure they wouldn't mind the free advertisement and arrangements could be made don't you think?

CartExpress This is a sample cart for web-services.org showing how a simple shopping cart application can be created...http://www.web-services.org/Cart/default.htm and click on sample cart.
The images are from www.clipart.com - http://www.clipart.com/PD-0025311/Main/tour/search_results?q=myth&s=61&a=c shows a couple of them (the birds), couldn't be bothered to search for all of them but it's likely that all the rest of the images came from here too...
