Fringe: shout-out to Cloverfield

The Fringe series is a part of the JJ Abrahms-verse so here is the first link to Cloverfield:

Fox added some notes to the official episode 102 recap - the "Songs in The Same Old Story", which include:

"Young Men Dead" by The Black Angels
"Skin Head" by The Glass Helmets
The band name The Glass Helmets may ring a bell for Cloverfield fans. The band was mentioned in a Cloverfield viral video on the JamieAndTeddy.com website.

It's probably one of those cross-marketing things. For instance, does anyone remember when they marketed Slusho! in Heroes and the Dharma logo from Lost, in one of the frames to Cloverfield, right when the monster crushed a tank? That was a while back. Though, I don't think this really holds anything important to the Cloverfield ARG.

But it's still a nice find, haha.

One of the episodes (of Fringe) also had a very familiar-looking night shot of the Statue of Liberty. Very Happy

No, thats' cool. John Scott as in Special Agent John Scott of Fringe.

quote off of The GlassHelmets MySpace page:
"The Glass Helmets bring together many disparate elements of the global metal scene into a sound that is fierce, often grandiose, but still earnest. Their still unreleased LP, "Hyperion and his disciples" is an album in the truest sense, with an often cryptic, but fairly clever narrative about physicists doing battle with the pantheon of greek gods in a dystopian future. While the arrangements could sometimes be called overcomplicated for the sake of showing their ability to count past 4, they often create a symphonic, apocalyptic space that is joyous and terrifying to visit. More at home in the company of 80's scandinavian metal rather than many contemporary death metal bands, TGH intensity and cinematic quality will probably inspire more than a few teenage role-playing gamers to start bands of their own." - St. John Scott / L.A. Audio Insider

Anyone else want to declare The GlassHelmets MySpace page as IG too?

Any of you see the newest episode with the exploding women? Even had blood leaking from eyes before hand, though she loses her head instead of her gut.
