Lol, were they talking about the Woolworth Building that had crumbled to the ground, sending every pedestrian on the block running for cover as torrents of smoke and debris flooded the streets?

I thought the scene, near the end, where they showed the monster from a high angle stumbling through the streets as the Blackhawk carpet-bombed it, should have been nominated instead. Double Negative rendered that scene in complete CG, the city was a reference and it obviously showed much more work input choreographed for such an awesome movie.

That, in my opinion, was a more impressive "HOLY S@#$" moment.

the woolworth building collapse was kind of like 9/11 when the south tower fell. hey Pr0LiFiX youre right clover jumping at the helicopter was pretty intenese (oh well)

Uh... What Empire State Building attack?

If the voting page ever contained that description, it was corrected by the time I went there and voted (a couple of days ago or so). I more greatly suspect that to have been an error on uniquelywired's part, having made the assumption many moviegoers not thoroughly aware of the viral campaign did that the Woolworth building was actually the ESB.

Nope, not my personal mistake (or assumption Wink )! I took it as it was on the page; it looks like they corrected it since voting opened. However, it does make me wonder if the people at Spike TV compiling the entries actually saw the movie... Confused

...or if they read these forums... Laughing

How dare they not do their research before posting a nomination?! Laughing Maybe they should have included a category for the most compelling viral marketing campaign... Wink

yeah...dark knight would get my vote because there was so much freaking detail into it that it's not even funny but cloverfield would also would get my vote as well it too was very detailed as far as movie virals go, end of line (tron referance)

I voted fairly evenly between Cloverfield, Dark Knight and Iron Man.

(Sorry to all the gypsies out there, but...) I do believe we were gypped. And I'm not the "it was a pleasure just being nominated" type.

I agree. Evil or Very Mad We couldn't been the only ones who loved Cloverfield, right?!

What concerns me is this: will losing in all its nominated categories send the message that we DON'T want a sequel? Confused

Breakout Performance Winner: WALL-E?!?!?! Come on! Mad
