The ! makes it look like a message but it means nothing to me. Any programmer types know if this is normal code or a kloo?

I don't see it in there anywhere.

Also, from what it seems so far, notawebsite just google searches whatever term you enter in, and brings you to the first result.

Is there anything strange/useful installed on the laptop? I know about the bookmarked site, but any documents, programs, etc?

Also, anyone know what the French on the pipe image says?

Did Amelia go silent on you guys? She never responded to my E-mail.

I just asked if there was any artwork on the walls. (never know, may provide a clue) Also asked if there was anything on the fridge.

it just means something along the lines of "this is not a pipe". my boyfriend is a bilingual canadian.

no, i'm guessing by my email address that i'm in a basement. no windows. I'm hearing shuffling and grumbling from above me now.

I'm guessing I've just woken Amelia up, I emailed her too. I've been told someone mentioned her previously; she's supposed to be stuck in a "basementbathroom" according to her email address; although that's confusing if you're hearing noises above you and not next to you - Keep searching around and let me know what you find...

So Shawn's in a basement... Total bottom of the building; noises above him? But if we're going by email addies; I'd say Am's in a 'basement' too?

well, there's light switches, which change the color of the lighting for some reason?
under the sink is a switch but it doesn't do anything. think the disposal is broken?

The switch is usually on the wall near the sink. But sometimes in the cupboard underneath. Just flip any switch you find at this point.

No Answer from Amelia w/ me either.

FISH: Ask if the lights change a dark red at any point?

I'm sensing photograph / Darkroom for some odd reason.

Could be. If you are feeling brave, make sure the switch under the sink is in the Off position and then reach into the disposal to see if there is anything in there.

What color do the lights change to?

yeah, actually, there are some drawings. one of a sunflower, one of a tower, one of a family, one of a hand. they seem like they were done by a young kid.

So I sent back:
Quote:
Are any signed? What does the family look like?

Could be Amelia's Daughter?

Ask him to check Photoshop for pic files, Audicity for Audio files and to pass you anything he finds.

I replied to Shawn's last message about the password'd folder with:
Quote:
Okay, what's the name of the folder? Also, try a few other passwords like basement, Amelia, Shawn, etc. Anything related to what you know so far.

@Leyton: Ok, I'll ask

Also, check Photoshop for pictures, and Audacity for audio files. If you find anything, please forward them to me.
