...I completely forgot about this thread when posting this ! Oops.
(Not that it's majorly important or anything, just that I didn't mean to add an unnecessary humor thread. Oh, well.)

Oh my god, maybe we got this all wrong. Maybe they got it all wrong. They put Ilovebees in the Halo 2 trailer by mistake instead of the Huckabees trailer, and by the time it got out it was too late, and the reason the game is starting slowly is that they've been feverishly trying to write new material that will somehow tie it in to Halo, or at least make it look like it might, because they don't want to look like utter dorks for making such a dumb mistake, but really what's going to happen is that when the game gets into full gear, the prize for solving it will be a couple of Marky Mark screensavers. And, as an afterthought, a $5 off Halo2 coupon that you can print from your computert. I CAN'T WAIT.

Maybe they found some extra A.I. swag lions (I really coveted those lions) and they'll be giving them out to people (me) who show up and whisper "I love bees AND Evan Chan" to the dancing robot. That would rock.

All the evidence is completely against the dancing robots. Microsoft lacks the money and the manpower to send dancing robots to 210 different locations. So just be quiet about it already.
We will, in fact, have to solve some kind of numerical puzzle regarding the ratio of each robot's funk to its groove. Robots that do not meet funk/groove requirements will have their behinds forcibly loosened by the Covenant.
And you don't want to see how the Flea dances.

It's a LOOOONG awaited DEMO! Just not Halo 2!
And as you can see, just like Melissa, it's "Voice Enhanced"

Why do you think I put the smiley there?

Hmmmmm.....And Dana mentions cheap DVDs and IMDB in her blog entry! I think you're on to something here!

Ok, I admit it. I'm grumpy that it's looking like a physical event instead of a puzzle.
I'll forgive them if Melissa's new spacecraft takes off from one of the locations.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Think how much better A.I. would've been if the second director had died before writing the new ending...

To crib mercilessly from a fellow Steve, "I think it's a floor wax AND a dessert topping!"
Is there any reason it couldn't be both? After all, what made the PMs choose the particular locations for the rendezvous if they are indeed rendezvous? If I was doing this, I'd embed a message in the pattern of locations for the interactions and wait for the
suckers
players to kick themselves for choosing only one and missing the other!

Oops, injected serious commentary in a humour thread. Bad form. Gotta fix that. Joke, I need a joke about what's at the coordinates...
Uh...
Uh...
Brainstorm... bootleg Chinese DVDs in a back room, Jude Law, "I am the Law!", Judge Dredd , Sylvester Stallone, Demolition Man , tired old Bungie chestnut about "John Spartan" & John/SPARTAN-117, Sandra Bullock, payphones, "growing a voice", time limit...
Ah ha! It's obviously DVDs of Speed signed by Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper!
(*phew*)

Dessert topping it is. Or was it floor wax?

I have a meta-reason to think so. Today is the last "normal update" day for the PMs before Axon Day. If we were supposed to solve the puzzle before then, I would have expected a big, big clue today .
Instead we got Dana saying "sure, go show up there and see what happens". Admittedly, served with a charming little story about things not being what you think.

Okay, but that just means that there's no hidden meaning that needs to be decyphered before Axon Day. I'd still keep digging to see if there's something we need for after Axon Day.
Now watch, it'll be bottles of Future and tubs of Cool Whip at the GPS coordinates.
-- Steve is a fan of "waste not, want not." But that still wouldn't get him to eat the Cool Whip.
