BTW, now that I look at the ww2 bomber again... aren't those rotors on the wings? looks more like a v-22 osprey - http://www.military-today.com/helicopters/bellboeing_v_22_osprey.jpg - the rotors are tilt able so they could be in at various angles...

Exactly what I was thinking. No doubt in my mind with that last zoomed in image.

Looks like a movie poster with Wonder Woman in front of a military display. Planes above, tanks behind and missile launchers to left and right

Interesting that they've got an American flag and an eagle on the poster, considering that she's not an American citizen.

One of the reasons I'm sadly expecting the Sarah Palin theory to hold out. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE a wonder woman ARG, but I just have trouble seeing this as real at this point in time. Too many peculiarities.

This could be related to the new Justice League movie that is due out in 2010, called Justice League: Mortal....
Just a guess.
Or maybe a new comic since the revealed poster parts almost looked comic-ish... Question

Well Superman isn't either but in the DCU they're American Icons fighting for truth, justice, and yada yada.....remember that her costume is basically an american flag

Damn.... the Sarah Palin theory seems kinda plausible....

I would like to note that 42 always has the same Whois setup: registrant is Domains By Proxy and registered through GoDaddy (same as this). So, maybe someone's just trying to make it look like 42E?

But I would still guess that it's for something official as I doubt that WB's guard dogs wouldn't have noticed the site by now and would likely be barking for whoever it is to drop the logos and copyrighted Joker image. Heck, have you seen how fast WB footage is taken down from YouTube?

And to anyone better in the know, what's the white square symbol on the poster belong to? (between the DC and WB logos)

I think that's the Silver Pictures logo, could be wrong though. They're a production company, that backed such films as The Matrix trilogy, V for Vendetta, Speed Racer, the Lethal Weapon series, and the Die Hard series (minus Live Free or Die Hard)

Yeah, that's it! Thanks. They're also the ones working on the 2011 movie.

My guess on the Dark Knight Joker symbol hidden on the wall? It's an Easter Egg slipped in by 42E. Like someone suggested earlier, it's probably their way of taking credit for this without openly saying so, much the same way an artist hides his initials on a painting.

And as for why Wonder Woman, an Amazonian princess, has these classic American symbols...well, there's two explanations. First, they're classic Wonder Woman symbols as well, stemming back to the lockstep patriotism that Superman was infected by as well. She was a product of WWII, so that helps to explain where that came from.

The best "in-character" response I've heard came from one of their comic books (I forget which, even which WW said it). "Why do I wear American symbols, you ask? Amazonian culture is thousands of years old; America is just past two hundred. No, the real question is: why is it they use Themysciran symbols?"

There's some new stuff in the background image, seems to further indicate that this is a joke and not a real WW viral. I saved the background image and equalized it in photoshop for those who can't see the whole image because of monitor size/settings.

Actually, my guess would be that it isn't a joke.

I say that the "Is this for real?" and "who are you?" are probably lines from the movie from the first bad guys that run into her.

I can see it now. Two thieves in a dark alley, running with their loot. All of a sudden, a scantly clad woman with a golden whip shows up seemingly out of nowhere.

WW: "Stop what you're doing."

Thieves blink and look at her, confused.

WW points at their loot.
WW:"That is not yours. Return it. Now."

Thief 1: "What? Is this for real?"

A fight commences wherein WW kicks their butts, major.

T2 (As she's throwing him across the alley): "Who ARE you?" followed by a "aaahhhhhh!"

Just a theory....
