i think we are makeing a mistake

Since we haven't had any development in the past few days I've also been wondering if we are making mistakes or miss something important. Here's my view:

1.) Since Echo is clearly telling us NOT to contact D. I will stay away from him. No feeding from me! . Why else the warnings that D. is blocking Mona and the phonemessages?

In the recent emails from echo, he said: "voices are feeding him," "one has bowed down to him" and "one has opened door for mona, distortion blocking, voices have made him increase, one is still loyal." It seems clear from those messages and the equinoxtransmission2 mp3 that we are not supposed to give fuel (words) to distortion.

well i was posting as a guest before i fully signed up, and i think some one took my idea because i mentioned it before maybe some one should join with d and try to back stab him perhaps that some one is the action of one that echo speaks of and that means we pray for the soul who took my suggestion earlier

Yeah, I'm holding out for the Thursday thought, too. I haven't contacted Mona since the one email to see if I could get more info and then the one forwarding my email to the Somerton people since she had asked to be shown. I had wondered if all the discussion regarding her was possibly turning into a bad thing, but I'm not sure what to do about that. If we aren't supposed to talk about M or D, how are we supposed to get anywhere? So I think that it's directly contacting them that's the problem.

I am somewhat concerned that it seems like nobody has heard from Echo in a few days, either. I've sent him emails and left my phone number on his message and have gotten nothing back. And from the look of the spirit communication board, nobody else has heard from him either.

I do feel like we're missing something, but I'm not sure what. Right now I'm praying that my thought of "movement on nine" meaning something will happen on the ninth is right and we just have to wait. I am comforted a bit by M's voice appearing in the new sound clip. To me that seems like an indication that we are doing something right. I hope so, anyway.

Meanwhile, I think we're stuck. I've been going through all of the words and clues and images that didn't seem to have been analyzed in depth and coming up with nothing. The most salient thing I have is "movement on nine." So I guess we wait, and if nothing happens on Thursday, we need to do a serious recombing of the stuff we have.

i hate to sound like a task master or that guy who runs on the spur of the moment
there are some things we need to focus on now that mona is or is very soon going to be free,

1. Prepare for the next spirit Margret?Echo?that child in the center? and help them transition
2. Prepare our selves for either Distortion or those who are in essence going to be Usurping him/it. or who ever happens to be the guardians of each level, as it seems perhaps distortion is only confined to the 9th like mona, that means we would have to make sure the child gets through 8 others along with distortion or who ever may replace him,
3. find who is still loyal to the dark powers if it is some one on our end or perhaps another spirit in the out lands who is using this as a opportunity to overthrow Distortion,

It does look like something needs to be done, but I'm not sure what. I just sent an email back to Echo replying to that garbled email about D getting stronger. I asked him how we can fight other than just not talking to D. Hopefully that will give us something to work with.

Okay, random thought here.

Expanding on azurace's theory - and what Echo seems to have told you lot (that Distortion gains power from words), I have a theory.

Words have meaning, and meanings are powerful.

So, my theory is this: what if you were to feed Distortion nothing but noise?

I'm not talking nonsense phrases like "I smoked armchair and danced Tipperary with a black-backed heffalump ringing carwash bake sales and Air Force cereal with 2600 magazines sneezing on the pin of an angel", but random gobbledegook like this:

I attribute that to our heeding echo's words to amandel, "Focus on darkness increases darkness" and "Do not feed wolf." If he interprets it as favoring him, it feeds him; if he interprets it as opposition, it fuels him just the same as when we communicated before. I agree. The nonsense idea is a very interesting thought, but most likely not as effective one. Distortion seems to feed on attention rather than words specifically, it just happens that words are the only real way we can communicate with him. It would be nice if it was as simple as pouring water in an engine. XD
