LA drop was actually in Burbank and was found in Brand Park by the entrance gate to The Doctors House museum.
Unique item was a San Fran minted 1934 Walking Liberty Half-Dollar coin

Seems obvious but as the ID says about protection and guidance and youve got a compass maybe use the serial numbers as orientering co-ordinates? maybe from the location of where the drop was found? Or scale it and it may draw something?

W007!
I left my house once it updated at 12:05pm and at exactly 1:10pm I got it! (Seattle)
It was pretty difficult to find, especially since it was "under the slab" and there was many different possible "slabs"
It was like only 4 blocks away from the Seahawks stadium.
I couldn't find the guy who was watching the drop, especially since there was so many people around,
and pretty much every one of them was looking at me wondering "why the hell is that guy yelling like that?" Very Happy

I can't believe I actually got it! This is so f*cking awesome!! you have no idea how excited I am right now! XD

Tampa DD

My name is Robbie and I recovered the Tampa Dead Drop on Oct. 30th about an hour after it went live. The clue was "The south side of the steps near one of the benches," In actuality it was on the side of a building tucked into an awning just off the south side of one of MANY set of steps near MANY benches.

I would have never found it if not for the guy watching the drop. I had walked by him several times looking for the drop and was about to give up...I had spent over an hour looking for the DD and thought I must have missed out on the package but decided to take a chance and ask the one guy who hadn't moved in an hour before I left.

When asked he said he didn't know anything about Project Abraham but he thought what I was looking for was behind some bushes which he pointed to. He said he wasn't allowed to say anything to me previously, even though I had been the only one to get close, but since I asked him he figured he could answer. The guy didn't even know what the package was for or about and asked me about the game. Kinda' weird...maybe they hired temp guys/gals to watch the DD's?

The clue was pretty useless as about 6 other people circled the same block as I did while I was looking for it. I probably walked around the DD twenty times before I realized who the ninja was and just asked him.

The contents of my DD were:
1 DD Bag
1 Compass Pouch
1 Engineers Compass
1 Evac Card for Capt. Harold Lindsay, U.S. Army (#'s removed just in case... Razz )
1 Waterproof match case with toothpicks inside
1 Large SRPA shirt

Hope this helps...
