Songwraith said that the "soon you will receive the coordinates" and at the end, "timing is everything." I am wondering if he e-mailed the coordinates to someone specific (maybe TheBruce), with a specific time frame. I think the phrase "soon others who have left their name on a piece of land" refers to those people that he has e-mailed with and asked where they live. That's why I am wondering if he would target a specific person to send the coordinates to. We already know that TheBruce is in Toronto and he went to Galt last time.

Perhaps there's something at the old post office clock tower in Galt. There's a photo of it here along with a ghost story: http://www.uoguelph.ca/atguelph/06-11-08/featurestowering.shtml

Here's more about the old Post Office, which now is Fiddler's Green Irish Pub, 12 1/2 Water Street, Cambridge, ON. http://www.hauntedhamilton.com/26_article_fiddlersgreen.html Most interesting to me is that in 1991 it was known as the Time Club, and a seance was held there. TheBruce, are you interested in taking a field trip there?

Here's the contact information for the Queen's Square Terrace (now a retirement home): http://www.chartwellreit.ca/new/home_locations/queens_terrace_square.htm It's on Melville St. so I think the whale photo was intended to lead us there. Looks like the Post Office is across the river from it. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=10+Melville+St+N,+Cambridge,+ON,+Canada&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title

That could well be Caffiend. Even if there isn't an actual Galt family member there, they could have a package for someone who asks for him. It's a better fit with the Grand photo.

News from Songwraith

The description on Songwraith's YouTube channel has been updated. It used to just say "Welcome to the Echelon". Now, this:

Quote:
Welcome to the Echelon.

Okay, I broke that code. First I reversed the text, based on the line "...future to past..." Then, I decoded it from Base 64, and came up with this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
43.344216, -80.315402
qpikyhg0w3f8t5xtjwpr.jpg

These are the coordinates to a very familiar location:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Followed by the address at photoanon.com of a new image:

TheBruce, I think you're up.

Hmmm..Fiddler's Green looks promising. It's pretty close to Queen's Square from the photo. It has a clock tower, possibly ghosts, and a hanging and, well, who needs a reason to visit an old Irish pub?!? It looks like there is an old pub/inn at Lions Head too. Pub tour anyone??

guh. same place, again.
Not sure if that exact position is the post, or another pile... I rewatched my walk around the area video to try to recognize something, but it looks like the big pile of brancehs and stuff may have moved... doubt it. But there's a black post there... didn't notice a white/grey area (which would likely be some cement rubble)

so we'll see. is there a timeline? it's a hassle to get down there...

Not sure about a timeline. The coordinates are pretty specific. You should be able to get within a couple of meters if you have a handheld GPS.

here's a panorama from the road-end of the big rectangular area (flickr). I didn't get too many pictures, just walked around videoing the area.
I know the precise spot the gps points to, just can't remember what's there, only what was caught on the video panning.
