hello peeps,
if shes trapped on dana's pc/harddrive somewhere (old spec) then we assume the SP is accessing dana's files.

So she might crack windows for us, and fix all the bugs Rolling Eyes hehe,

seriously tho- shes given us all these different texts, literature from childrens authors, and some more complex stuff, so far its just part of the plot
(as i see it) the PM's have given us tidbits of the story. no real puzzles (unless we count the current axon gps) and this is all just to set the scene.

like a kool fmv before a quality game, pretty to look at, but mainly useless to the actual game.

the action will pick up august 24th, and the game will probably run across a few websites, with us having to stop or help the AI (which one Razz ) , dana's hinting at changing countries also leads into a global hunt game, with the OP trying to hunt her down or something hopefully along those lines. A simple spec, but i do so hope this is just all a preview for the real game, and that dana visits australia Razz

until then, we can't do much but sit and wait- visiting the locations is our best hope. wide awake and physical should reveal to us the fog of mystery ,and so on and so forth.

Although that brings a question forward - where is she finding these things to read, if she's sequestered away somewhere?

Mostly, it's because people sent them to ladybee777SPLAThotmail.com, I believe. Lots of folks tried sending the Sleeping Princess stories, song lyrics, and such.

DISCLAIMER!! Wild Specualtion Ahead!!

I know people were sending her all sorts of things to teach her higher language, but how were they sent, and what was sent? I'm pretty sure people didn't send entire books, or even full chapters of books, unless they were links... which means that the Sleeping Princess can roam about as freely as Melissa, and Melissa hasn't noticed.

Doesn't this strike you as insanely odd? The Sleeping Princess is meant to be locked away, but she has a communication channel with us and has been reading.
Meanwhile there is absolutely no evidence that Melissa has contacted us whatsoever, and she doesn't seem to know that we're piecing together information. Melissa is leaving all sorts of information behind, sequestered away inside webpages and such, but the Sleeping Princess is actually hiding it away for us to find. She knows we're looking, Melissa doesn't. She wants to play games with us, mess around with us.

Why do I have the uneasy feeling that the Princess is a malevolent entity waiting for a chance to get out and do bad things? And that she's separate from the Pious Flea...

And if we pay attention to the original descriptions, she sounds a little like Sleeping Beauty, and a little like Snow White...

Anyway, that's just what keeps running through my head.

Actually, I'm pretty sure they DID send her large pieces of text. I sent her all of T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land" (which she used Very Happy ). Other people sent her whole plays be Shakespeare, etc. I'm pretty confident that, at least during that phase of the SP's interaction with us, all of her text came from emails sent to her or from the ilb site itself.
