Hollow Corner

Also, I don't know if this has already been posted but one of the base walls on my equation seems hollow if you tap it.

The Equation

Been awhile since we seriously tackled this one. I was looking at one of cnico's pictures (page 11 or 12) and built that on my Equation. I noticed I could switch 3 blocks to get the small dark corner next to the other dark ones:

Notice that the two dark block images kind of resemble the Greek letters of Tao and Gamma. Not sure if that means anything yet, but something to think about.

Also, in trying to figure out how the DaVinci piece fits, I see that if it is put on the puzzle with or without the pieces, the notch points to either nothing, or it points to the corner-like graph diagram. I don't know what formula it represents yet, but that may be important.

Greek letters

Hi Adventurik,

I thaugh too of greek letters because the title of this puzzle is in greek letters and the symbols ingrave on the central piece of DaVinci puzzle are greek letters too. But I don't know what to do with that yet. I know one great mathematician that is greek : Euclide. Is it of some use? Probably not but I keep thinking and trying!
My solution of the equation is not like yours but I have a greek letter too (only gamma, taking 4 dark pieces). It uncovers, in a way, the equation 4² 6xP4. Is it the good one? I can't see what to do with all this.

Godmother,
Hadn't thought about Euclides. But the guys named in the puzzle are Newton, Galileo, and Einstein, so Euclides is probably not needed. The equations can be attributed to them I think, and sometimes they use Greek letters. The thing that bugs me about the equations on the base, is that the base can be rotated, so different equations show up when the dark blocks are removed. Also one of the clues says that a complete formula will appear, and the one you mentioned is not complete. But then I could be waaaaay off base. I've been wrong before. This one is tough.

Really?
Well, It just goes to show you that no matter where you go...there you are!

AND...

Of all the places that I have ever been...this is certainly one of them.

I still want to know the password for 'The Equation'.

The Equation still bugs me a lot. Ok, first assemble the pieces on the base. There are at least 4 workable configurations. They can all be rotated in 4 positions in relation to the base, and they can all be flipped over giving at least 8 variations. Then what? What are the dark blocks supposed to do? Point to an equation? Lifting the dark blocks exposes one, two, or no equation, which is different depending on rotation. The clue "add a step" and use the Davinci block is supposed to do something, and I think the notch points to something. But you have to remove the pieces to do that. The equation is saved for the last puzzle, so how can you determine any password? Maybe the password is determined by the clues only. Judging by the complexity of DaVinci, the clues won't give any obvious answer. I just don't understand this one.

Equation

The 'base' has a logo printed on the back side. That might indicate which way it is to be oriented, but I doubt it matters.
Now, the flipping part...
Once the pieces are assembled, they can be flipped over left to right, AND top to bottom. That gives four ways they can be placed on the board.
There are at least four configurations of assembled blocks. Maybe more!
Someone do the math..is that 16 possible ways the blocks can cover the inscriptions on the board?
This can't indicate a password.
I think Adventurik might be onto something with the clues themselves idea.

I think I posted this is the wrong location last time, so here it goes again.
Okay so I have completed Da Vinci's Secret 100% a while back. I have obtained scrolls from puzzles 1-5. however I can use a little further assistance.
I could use some additional guidance on solving the 'Riddle' for the equation puzzle, and how to use the piece from Da Vinci's secret in respect to the puzzle.
Also any guidance on opening Carta Blanca, I have tried twisting, turning, spinning etc all to no avail, any thoughts I have missed???
Thanks

 No point?

Since the official website has not updated in almost 1 year, and they have yet to release the final puzzle, I would not be surprised if this whole thing falls apart.

I have emailed the company many times asking for help, or an explanation and not one email has ever been returned!!

Sad to say, but the final puzzle may be vaporware, and we may never know the solution to the equation.

 Carta Blanca
Need A Solution

Can someone share with me, a Start-To-Finish solution for Carta Blanca?

Unfortunately I purchased this puzzle individually as a gift... not realizing it was in a series of puzzles. I'm hoping to still give it away, but wanted to put something in the box beforehand... Confused

Anyone? Bueller... Bueller ???

Carta Blanca Solution
You are on the right track ...

Two things regarding the Carta Blanca posts here:
1. Sticking a metal wire/bent coat hanger in the holes at the bottom of the box and poking will not help solve the puzzle and probably won't do any damage unless you really go crazy in which case it could be broken.
2. If you shake the box you can hear 'a springy like thing' ... you are on the right track here .... http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=27122

The Enigmatic Temple

I think I might have a dud Enigmatic Temple because it seems asthough the locking pin is slightly to long to enable me to turn the top panel.
Is this normal?
