It should be noted as well, that on the signs posted in the park, there were two bits of information that seemed like they might be important.

The project was "approved" by Assemblyman Eric Ghoutan.

The development code is: 3E934TH6R

I called Clawshun Industires today and listened to the message. It says that due to high-call volume, they cannot receive voice messages at this time. However, if you press a key (I pressed 1) after the message, it then says to leave your name, phone number, and a brief message and that your call will be returned. I left a message asking for an interview with their CEO. We'll see if any calls come back. But wanted to put it out there that there is a way to leave a message.

I just left a message too. I said I had some questions about the redesign of Superman, so I'm just gonna wait and see if they call back.

To see info on Clawshun and view your virtual stock certificate go to this page

PORTFOLIO SUMMARY FOR CLAWSHUN INDUSTRIES (CLAW-1)
MSE RATING: 5-out-of-5 stars *****

Though Clawshun Industries is relatively new to the public commodities trading scene, it has outperformed all conventional expectations. The key to this conglomerate's phenomenal success is diversification; from frozen foods to high-tech software manufacturing, Clawshun seems to have its hands in many pies.

But if you're looking for investment pointers from Clawshun's CEO, keep looking - he remains secretive to the point of reclusion. "All I'll say," comments the self-made billionaire, "is that we've got our finger on the pulse of this economy. We welcome change, encourage expansion and engage in multi-national wheeling and dealing whenever the opportunities present themselves... that's what made Clawshun the powerhouse it is today."

It turns out that Cornelius/Kreig Pharmaceuticals(one of the companies from the scroll of the stock exchange) is located in Metropolis, I can't find much information about it. And even I know that the Daily Planet is in Metropolis.

When I go to the Six Flags New England site, I don't see any reference to Clawshun. I'm sure there was one for a while.

FYI: I thought this was in the thread already but I didnt see it.
www.stopclawshun.com is the website (consisting of one page) for the anti-clawshun group.

I also found an email being sent out by Stopclawshun which was posted
on Six Flags NorthEast forums: http://sfneonline.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=492&st=40

If you haven't already heard, the suits at Clawshun Industries want to "re-invent" our beloved Superman: Ride of Steel! We've uncovered their website at clawshunindustries.com <http> , but we don't believe a single word of their "vision".

They are actually shameless enough to push their stock at www.metropolisstockexchange.com <http> , and we fear the only way to get at the truth of who is really behind their scheme is to beat them at their own game.

It looks like they're actually giving away free stock on their site, but we can't figure out why. I've already gotten my share but I need your help to drive the meter past 100.

Now is the time for us to stick together. We have a sinking feeling that no one is safe from Clawshun's grasp… not even Superman himself.

STOP CLAWSHUN NOW!!!

Some more Youtube Vids I haven't seen links to yet on the thread:

A good recording of the Clawshun voice message:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4hERj5SyoI

An audio interview with a Clawshun employee/supporter:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIwCLujeLFI

Video Interviews with some of the Stop Clawshun Protesters:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxl2w6g3Yrs

Well done on the www.stopclawshun.com find, rose - I went looking for something like that last week, but didn't turn up anything.

I see that there are now 64% of the Clawshun Industries stocks left... I wonder if things will heat up once they're all gone?

Hehehe... cha-ching!
There are 50% of the free stocks remaining (happy now Laughing ?)

Actually, assuming the MSE ticker is fairly comprehensive, Clawshun is the only company with rising stock prices...

EDIT: Make that 36%

I just checked and now there are only 36% of the shares left. I hope they manage to tap into another community to play this game. It seems to finally be moving down a bit. And if it doesn't go anywhere, at least we got virtual stock from metropolis.

adage article

Here's an article on this promotion from adage. They suggest that Susan Bonds of 42Entertainment is behind this...but I remind people that almost every game is suggested t o be by 42.

I'd put (a tiny bit of) my money on Loneshark, simply for the use of some of the same actors/stock imagery as on Citizens of Virtue...

A quote from there:
Quote:
But by the time a new viral marketing campaign from Six Flags wraps up, executives hope "Steel" riders will have spent several hours hyperventilating over the property -- even before they strap in and drop 221 feet.

It sounds like the culmination might be a live search of the park?
