Like it could be an alternate dimension. Somehow or other the producers managed to pull this all of to get their real reactions on film in a freaky version of the Truman Show. There was some large scale supernatural epidemic that killed off a bunch of people who became super violent zombie ghosts and the living panicked and evacuated the area en masse... Laughing (Yeah, I can't get off the zombie thing...)

 		I've emailed Diane, suggesting that, when she gets back to studio, she check a telephone for dial tone and try a few numbers and also check a television if she finds one, see if there are any news channels broadcasting.

Hi all,

Sorry I'm in the US on the west coast and it's morning here.. I awoke to an e-mail from Maria:

Well yeah, I could walk to the lounge, the garden if it wasn't locked off the bedrooms which Ricky and I have now done, they opened at 7am this morning. So myself, Shawn, Ricky and Laura are all together. Sitting in the main lounge of the 'Lif3-House'.

Sounds like the locks are on some sort of timer... I'm going to tell them to stick together and that Diane is outside the house and they should stay calm and report any suspicious activity...

If they can communicate with you guys through a computer, that means that there is some sort of infrastructure left over, which means that whatever happened to make people disappear happened pretty recently.

I'm thinking: experiment gone wrong, this is all part of the actual TV show

Also, what other parts of the computer can they access? Can they, for example, look at news sites? Could they download Skype and call people they know? (that one's a stretch).

Also, this kind of reminds me of an early ARG (year or two ago) where somebody's entire town disappeared but they could still hear everyone around them - it's just that aliens transported the people to another dimension.

Okay, now I'm done with my brain dump.

And I can craft a slightly more generic in-game IRC client if you want (done it before, actually) so the people don't have to logon to mibbit.

 		Just wanted to interject that last night before I crashed laura mentioned ghosts to me in an email. So thats two mentions of the subject by contestants.

Well what do you know? Just like me lol! I'm your typical "Goth into Wicca" type... Although most people just call me lesbo and freak. Big into ghost stories and ghost hunting too. Lif3 was advertised on the web, on posters on buses around here etc... Auditions occured back in the summer, I went w/ two of my friends and, ta-da got in!

No AIM I'm afraid we only ever had access to this and one other site which isn't working right now and never used the terminal before tonight so, I am not even sure what the site is or was.

My Reply:
Hey Laura,

Thats awesome, a bunch of friends and I were trying to start a ghost-hunting thing locally. We have had some experience with that kind of thing before and decided to try it ourselves. I find the paranormal very interesting. As for the goth into wicca thing, that pretty much sums me up as well. So what do you make of the show thus far? Having fun? Do you like the other people involved? And what is up with this Mast3r guy? Do you know anything about him? What was the address of the other site? I can try to access it from here and see if it's down for everyone, or just blocked for you guys.


No reply as of this morning. I will try again in a bit. Has every contestant been accounted for today?

It's been in front of you the whole time. Every "E" in this game has been replaced by the number three. That's a form of leet. I was just wondering why that was.
