I tried destegging the pictures Robbie posted on the Facebook group, but I not sure what the password would be. I'm not sure if there's anything there, but its worth a shot.

It shows the flight paths planes take coming into Heathrow, and places the house in perfect east-west alignment from Heathrow, a little way south of Ealing and White City.

I can't imagine how Big Ben would be heard out there (did someone definitely mention it? I don't remember seeing it), I don't ever remember hearing it personally unless I'm pretty close, it would make more sense for them to be a little north of Stockwell, roughly the closest the flightpaths get to Big Ben.

Well if the clues are accurate then I'd have to say Stockwell or Lambeth kind of area, it's right under flight paths and straight down the River Thames from Big Ben, so the sound would really carry down over the water in a silent city at night, I'd be amazed if you could hear it in Ealing.

Was reading through this as I was surprised to find something uk based, but can I just say I live in the north of london, highbury actually and if I listen closely at the top of my block at the right times [top of the hour obviously] i can hear big ben and it takes me a good 25 minutes by bus to get to the waterloo area.

but you can travel from ealing to the same area in about 10 minutes by bus, plus ealing is west of big ben whereas I am north of it, so that could say something too.
