I would like to throw my name in the ring for the Broomfield site. I will try to make the first time but will at least make the second.

I am not sure if this is the right place, but the Broomfield site is not in Broomfield but in reality is downtown Louisville.

Addict: its merely Dana's new blog entry, and I can see that making some sense. In a previous game, I dont recall which on here, it is told about where you enter video stores around the country, give a passphrase to the clerk working there and they would give you a CD-rom with the next clue in the game. I did send an email to Ladybeee asking what do we DO when we get there, want to make sure of no foulups when we all go. Perhaps in the remote reegions, a mysterious strsanger hangs around there, with discs in their trunk? Just still a pure spec from the idea, dont think anyone else went for it. in the wiki or in the threads. By the way, which locale be closest to you, why not join the fun and sign up?

By sign up do you mean check out some of the GPS locations? If so then I am already up for the San Francisco ones. I have several GPS recievers and know San Francisco like the back of my hand. So when I saw that there were 6 locations in SF I jumped at the chance to check them out and even scout them the day before. Unfortunately I cannot scout them eariler than Monday because I am currently not in San Francisco.

Addict I posted his earlier but I guess you didn't see it

I checked out the SF sites on thursday, and drove by them yesterday. 16:51 and 18:03 are practically on top of payphones (I don't have a GPS). 17:03 is at 333 Market and will definatley be a cab ride to the next one. I was there at the exact time coincidentally and the , and 17:11 is inside the giant Bank of America's customer parking lot. I'll also be going to these spots so write back or give me a call I PM'd it to you. if we can do this together then I think it would be smarter.

Dingis,

Maybe you could do some scouting if you have the time.
There is alot of speculation about payphones at these locations.
I've mapped the location in Stanwood and it's on top of a phone.
The 5:19 in Bellingham is at a library that has two phones.
The 10:41 has two phones in the vicinity (within 100ft.).

Other people are reporting similiar results but I can't find a payphone
anywhere on High St. (5:59).

Nightmare Tony,

How do I let DorkMaster know that I can cover all of the SF sites? Just through a PM or is there some other way?

cystonic,

Yeah, I saw your post, I am definitely game for some group work. I can clear my schedule and can commit all day to this endevor. I replied to your PM. I hope you got it.

As you can probably guess I am new to the boards but I have been following the ilovebees site since the Halo 2 trailer.

Hello Everyone,

I'm very new to all this (completely new to the board) and came here amongst much of the rest of the deluge by way of Penny Arcade. It's a testament to how fascinating and involving this all is that I'm still here now, and willing to involve myself and help in any way I can.

So, I volunteer to hit the location Northeast of Kansas City, MO at 9:29 PDT (NO. 55 on the coordination spreadsheet). I'm local in KC, and the coordinates are very near our airport, I believe on a street that contains primarily hotels and the like. There doesn't appear to be any specific building at the location, but I'll be sure to get there early to make sure. Lots of hotels means a lot of payphones, though... I'll try to bring a friend to keep tabs.

I'll be armed to the teeth with audio recorder, pen and paper, and a video camera just in case there turns out to be a physical presence to document.

I guess I'm on the team now... Smile

-Arden

PS: if I need to send Dorkmaster a PM or anything to confirm, please let me know. I'm new, but I want to do this right.

I live in Moorhead, MN and I'll take that location. Although its actually plotted to FARGO across the river. If memory serves, it's an AmeriPride store right next to the main bus station.

BTW this is my first post here, ARGs seem lots of fun.

Depending on whether or not I can meet someone there, I may make the journey down from Winnipeg. I'm going to ponder the idea all night tonight, hopefully people from the Fargo/Moorhead area who are definitely going can get in touch with me and arrange some sort of meeting place/schedule for an unsure Canadian.

Fargo folks, there's a payphone at 502 NP Avenue you might want to stake out.

Ok, I've updated the phil based on new posts to this thread only. If you have PM'd Dorkmaster today with your location, it will not be included in this update. If you like, you can PM me to have it added, or wait until he updates on Monday.

Also, I've html-ified the spreadsheet for anyone who does not have/want excel. The current phil is located here and a list of only unclaimed locations (sorted by state) is here. A time zone map is included in the excel file and also available here since we seem to be having a few issues in correctly converting to local time Confused

I have tried to add some detail to the vague locations on the unclaimed sites and have changed a few that were showing in the wrong state altogether which creates a new location in CT and one on the MD/VA border that previously were "xx km from New York".

Note: Viirden and Dingus, I can't keep up with which locations each of you are taking, so PM or post who is taking which.
Also, Dorkmaster, hope you don't mind any of the changes/additions I've made - just trying to keep this insane group organized Very Happy
