Okay, i'll go more American. I was thinking more of the Holodeck on Star Trek then Quantum Leap or Sliders.

Ohh! Now Star Trek I understand Wink I hadn't considered that... Nah, I'm sticking to Sliders Wink

why? there are plenty of times when a character was stuck in the Holodeck and couldn't get out.

Let me get this straight: Diane could be imagining these things? As well as Lance, Maria, Shawn, Ricky, Laura and Robbie?

I believe they're real as they were able to make contact with us. This makes sense with Robbie, as well, considering he "auditioned" for this Lif3 show, but didn't make it. If Leon said he told Diane to check A.M. after they went global, then the Lif3 show is the name of the game.

So we have to somehow get Diane, Robbie, Lance, etc... to realize they're in a virtual reality (basically an ARG inside an ARG).

I guess this could make sense, as each character could have their own reality inside of this one that is customized to suit their personality. I don't know though, as this is all speculation.

I'm going to make a guess and say sending her back to A.M. might not work? She probably wouldn't recognize the place unless we really hit her hard with questions and pictures.

I think we're making progress as she is starting to remember Leon, who is OOG in her ARG. Maybe she really needs to just get home and read her journal. That would definitely help.

As of now, I think the only things you can do are:
1.) Apply for Apace Mindset and see if they email you (I haven't received a response)
2.) Read the updates in this topic
3.) Keep an eye out for updates on Diane's blog and Robbie's podcast.

I think that's about it.

It seems I have the uncanny ability to stop ARG's in their footsteps. I know it's the weekend and all, but come on!

Have no fear, Llama! I've looked over all 27 pages, checked the websites of interest, and have decided to jump in.

I just sent an application to Apace Mindset, and I'm currently waiting for a reply. This is my first ARG, and I hope to have fun with all of you!

I haven't received a response from Apace Mindset, and it's been a while... I guess we just have to be patient.

I never got a reply from the either. I don't like it when arg's go quite over the weekend. Luckily i have had a busy weekend so it hasn't been too bad.
Hopefully we will get an update tonight.

Yay, i got a reply from Leon.

Here is what i sent him
Quote:
Hi Leon,
I have been in touch with Ari, he told me about the email you sent to him. I am also trying to help Diane get out of the mess she is in at the moment.
I heard that it is not a good idea to warn her that she is in a game so i will try to be careful about what i say to her.

Can you tell me how your game ended? From what i have heard, the last anybody knew, you had just figured out that you were in London and you were in a dark room. Were you still in the game at that point?
I was thinking that if we know how you got out of the game then we can help Diane and the others.

Also did you suffer any "side effects" after the game. I can imagine it would have been very confusing coming out of the game.

His reply
Quote:
I woke up, well was woken up by a voice which told me my game was now over and when I had taken the necessary time to get my head together to head for the debrief, which I did.

I didn't think to try contacting anybody who had 'helped' me in the past as, from that point I had figured everyone I spoke to was "in the game" so to speak. Never thought they'd existed whatsoever...

There was one person, I thought she was crazy, who tried to convince me that I'd probably have a hard time after leaving... Her name was Gail, she was a technician over at Apace Mindset.

As for side effects, no... Nothing. Although apparently it had been on the news that the Government had been trying to shut A.M down for a while now, something to do with the brain being trapped inside the machines and Forester, the guy in charge, conveniently 'forgetting' to do anything about fixing the bugs.

And also an update from Diane
Quote:
Home sweet home

Alright so I've made it back FINALLY...

Saw those weird fires again, but they were more in the south-east direction as I was headed westerly. I'll take a quick look on the way back but right now it's about finding that diary.

I'm sorry it's been a while guys but I've been trying to make as much time as has been humanly possible covering such distances. My house is about another twenty minutes walk from where I stand so, I'll be in touch soon.

Hmm.. Interesting. I'm looking at a map, but don't see anything of interest in the Souteast. Ewell, Colliers Wood. I'm not familar at all with the area so it all looks the same to me.

Isn't Gail the one contacting Amanda and asking her for help? I think learning more about Leon's interactions with Gail might help a bit.

Maybe I should drop a few e-mails myself and see what I can get out of it.

Tis her, tis her.

If Amanda can further her relationship with Gail, then maybe we can figure out what happened to Lance and the rest of them (besides figuring out how to bring them out of their ARG).

I wonder how Robbie is doing... Haven't heard anything from him. I hope he's ok.

So! Get Leon back in touch with Gail, yeah?

Amanda, have you attained the "secure line"?
