 		btw, 'eva' was a typo and its been changed to 'eve' on the CoV website... so that pretty kills the algebra and fairy queen theories...

 		Time for my completely off-the-wall and almost always completely off-base conjecture.
1) Adam told... is a clue to a homophone.
2) Eve a lie / Eva a lie -- was probably a typo due to sounding out the start of "eeve-uh"
3) So, does it sound like "evil eye" to you?
4) and would that be the womanly wiles?
5) Bonus: evileye has 7 letters!

Anyone catch Savannah's parting letter on facebook? Here it is:

I wanted to reach out to all the loyal members of the Citizens of Virtue while I still have the platform. I know some of you may not be loyal or virtuous, but I trust that most of you are. I will pray that the rest of you change your ways.

I need to tell you that I will not be here to help you with your salvation any more, and it's up to you to carry on my fight for a more Virtuous America.

I won't be here, because the unvirtuous have infected my beloved organization and turned it against me. In the last month, I have seen these unvirtuous acts:
*a campaign to reinvent church songs undermined by the hateful proponents of sinful music
*the development of a holy militia thwarted by those who believe children should be sheltered from reality
*the release of a valuable abstinence medication halted by outsiders
*a drive to bring needy people into the church derailed by those who would dilute the church's effect

I have seen these things, and now I am being told that I am responsible for it all going wrong. They have even blamed me for tampering found at the Citizens of Virtue's online store, while the real culprit is still at large.

I tell you, I can't abide it. I'm just one woman trying to do God's work and stand up for what is right. If others want to tear me down, let it hang upon their souls. I may not be your spokeswoman any longer, but I will still be your ally in the fight against vice. And I will return.

Well, that was interesting, I was worried for a while that we missed something 'cos it's been almost a week since we reported her. A quiiiick question... she mentions tampering on the online store, but I see nothing our of the ordinary. Could she just be meaning Gareth Blayne's mission?

 		Weekly Inspiration solved!

It's in a monospace font, which means the letters are lined up in distinct columns. Find a column that has all seven letters of a DI answer and pull them out; you'll always have three left over. Those leftover letters spell LUTZ HASN'T LEFT ARUBA. Slothful and dishonest, considering his About Us blurb talks about how well-traveled he is... Reported!

Columns, for the curious:
CHINESE + LUT - Column 28 (starting at the "h" in "the")
RIDDLES + ZHA - Column 22 (starting at the "s" in "presume")
MICHAEL + SNT - Column 10 (starting at the "a" in "may")
NOURISH + LEF - Column 2 (starting at the "i" in "Sinners")
VISIONS + TAR - Column 15 (starting at the "i" in "still")
EVIL EYE + UBA - Column 23 (starting at the "u" in "presume")

Too tired to post full solution, but there are six vertical lines of ten letters each that contain each DI solution of seven letters with three left over.

If you take each answer in DI order, you get

CHINESE - LUT
RIDDLES - ZHA
MICHAEL - SNT
NOURISH - LEF
VISIONS - TAR
EVILEYE - UBA

Or "Lutz Hasn't Left Aruba."

 		It's probably just another mistake but I noticed today's inspiration is "daily" instead of "weekly". Normally Tuesdays are weekly.

 		most casinos only use a deck of cards once in an effort to keep people from cheating by defacing cards so that they can identify them and so to denote decks which have already been used (and therefore to keep them from being used in the casino again) they will usually punch a hole through each of the cards. these 'used' decks are then often given away or sold to people who have visited the casino or who have won money there. nothing too terribly unusual there... maybe the numbers on the cards are important though?... not sure. anyway, maybe we should be working on the disciples puzzle a bit more since we have figured out all the current DI's and the WI for this week.

Myself, I see two possibilities: 1) we are supposed to find one answer by using cryptography on the information given 2) we are supposed to recognize a pattern and fill in the missing information for the next link in the chain


BTW, big props to the guys who figured out the WI and props to catherwood for figuring out the last DI. that was definitely a tough one...

 		Xander Greene just joined Facebook and friended me. (At the moment, I'm his only friend.) He wants to know if he can help us free the Seven. (I'm thinking, well, you're a little late ... we've got most of 'em already.)
