Re: Wilhelm is the old man
is he being played?

Those were my thoughts as well. I still don't understand why Wilhelm would have a problem with human trafficking though since he seems to be up to his eyeballs in the rest of the dirty dealings...Guess we will find out as we go.

can we start tracking the blood money IDs as well?

I've made note of two so far (and there have been a number of reports of blood money)

L17014535A (LA drop)
L21557350A (gupfee's package)
B14017513I (Patmo's Berlin drop)
F47296931A (Despoiler's package)

not sure if it matter, but it could help in determining if there's a pattern to the tracing of the blood money.
It seems the last visual is the locating of your ISP (closest IP tracert result I would assume), after various tracking locations for that bill's use around the globe.

Is there anything we can do to track it besides entering the number in on the site? Wasn't blood money found in other places besides the dead drops? If so, do we have those numbers?

that's why I don't think the IDs are important... with no way of tracking them, and no record on STI.com of what's been entered (or even how many), it may very well be unimportant, and just a way to get people involved.
(feels kind of like the cog CSID strings that would give bonus popup content on the Gears of War site, of which there were 1000+ unique CSIDs)

I get the feeling there's going to be quite a lot of blood money bills around the world for people to randomly find...

You're probably right, especially since it doesn't seem like the blood money is playing an active role aside from getting people's attention. It kinda reminds me of the Joker dollars that made the rounds at San Diego that got people clued in to the TDK viral.

That being said, I'm all for some blood money, so here's hoping some pops up in Georgia... Razz

I can't see the bloodmoney playing too much of a factor. Entering the serial number gives you the info on where its been, but there's no other information that has been produced. I can tell you that I have one other $2 bill at home that I will post later for your perusal, or if you'd like, I'll just upload a list of all of the serial numbers from the currency in the bag. I won't be able to do this until I get home, but I will pass on the info so that people can enter it in the tracker and see where its been.

You keep Roswell, I'll keep Augusta. Atlanta we can divide 50/50. Deal?

That would be cool, thanks!

Consider it done. I will try to post it by 7pm PST tonight. I'll just make a list of currency types and serial numbers from yesterday's drop.

Edit - Here is the list! Keep in mind that shad0 and wj1975 have a few notes too as trophies of our day! I listed all of the currency I have right now. Enjoy!

Site is being buggy
update soon?

The map page loads really slow and no new countdown has started.

Do they ever have sites hacked as part of an ARG?

I would think we would get something this afternoon. The Berlin video was uploaded last Friday so I am thinking we'll get the update today. If New York is the next drop, they might coordinate the update to start with the New York countdown for Wednesday. Both drops so far have taken place between 1-2pm in their respective time zones. So maybe at 1pm EST we'll know more. Just a guess, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
