The fourth clue is copper.

So we've got:

Iron Solute
Uranium
Phosphorus
Copper

Really looks like an alchemist's grocery list.

The 4th Clue

The fourth clue, it seems, can only be unlocked with card 60 which I (regrettably) do not have. Darn it!!!!!!!!

That is encouraging. I wondered if they would give out code for the ultra-rare. I need to send in a SASE. I have bought like 6 packs and still have no 60.

Way to go on the flying tyty2001! You really have made your mark in those flying games. I finally realized that I didn't have score in the dogfight, so even with a marginal score, I was able to crack the top 50 overall.

BTW, I am alicecahill1 on the leaderboard, since was unable to use aliceinwunderland on the 39C site. I am mediocre on most of the games, but absolutely horrible on the skeet shoot! I believe that tyty2001 was the one that recommended keeping the spce bat pushed continuously for the dogfight. That really helps!

Any advice on skeet shoot would be appreciated. Embarassed

my name is tyty2001 on the game lol figures

and ya i mentioned that holding space bar down also u want to do loops alot and try to stay behind the airplanes nose so they cant fire at u like swooping beneath them then coming up shoot at there belly also the bombers are easier to shoot down if you go down and then hold spacebar and go straight at the bombers shooting at them also on the level where there are lots of bombers u can kill all of them then crash and u keep score then u shoot all the planes and crash u get more and so on until u only have one picture of airplane this time u dont die and go to next level to kill blimp make sure u dont go upside down because i kept crashing in blimp

on the skeet shoot you want to wait until the discs are farther away so u get a higher score but not to far or when u shoot it it wont count but it will say u hit it also u want to try to hit two discs when they are right next to each other because it gives u 600 points also keep ur hand on space bar and click it everytime u shoot like practically at the same time that way u no u are reloaded and ready to go

im having trouble on the thinking ones tho lol

Hello,

Thanks for your interest. Here are the rules:

To get digital versions of the Cards included in a Card Pack, send a self addressed postage-stamped envelope with sufficient postage to: The 39 Clues Card Pack Mail In Entry for Books #1, #2 and #3, Scholastic Inc, 557 Broadway, New York, NY 10012. For each entry, please make sure to include your username and the e-mail address you used during registration (your e-mail if you are 13 or older; your parent's/legal guardian's e-mail if you're under 13). You will receive back 16 unique IDs associated with a particular Card Pack, and when you enter the unique IDs online, the 16 Cards will be added to your online collection. There is a total of 55 Cards available for Books 1, 2, and 3. The Cards included in any pack will vary, with some Cards being very common, and others being rare. There is no limit to the number of mail-in requests for Cards in Card Packs, but there is a limit of one request per outer mailing envelope. Digital versions of the Cards included in Card Packs will be available only after the Card Pack is available in stores.

For mail-in requests, residents of Canada and the US states of Washington and Vermont may omit return postage.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for playing,
Gavin

just get an envelope stick a stamp on it right to that address above put another stamp on another envelope and put that inside addressed to urself (which is a SASE) and also include a little note saying ur email address u signed up with and username then what i did is added at the bottom saying p.s. i really need card 60 and i would be happy if you gave me it THANK YOU SO MUCH

they send ur self addressed envelope to you with a plain white piece of paper that has 16 card codes on it the funny thing tho is that i went through all the card codes to the last one and i didnt get card 60 yet and the last one was card 60 i was happy lol

card #60

I bought 5 packs from the book store that I get a 10% discount from. No 60. I was walking through a bookstore that I get only a 5% discount from and thought what the hey, I'll buy a pack. I bought 2 other books at the same time, and when I got out of the shop I ripped open the package, as I was doing so, I noticed the pre-discount price was US$3 more than the other store. Too late to return it. What the heck, opened up hte silver packets shaking and hoping. There on top of hte second packet was #60. Dumb luck if you ask me.

CARD #8

I was just looking at hte webpage with my daughter, and we stumbled across this:

Quote:
If only the other branches could break his email codes...

so we looked at the card. There are 5 numbers on the card. Using the A=1 cypher we get USTAD. That is a form of classical Indian Music, or the word for a Master or Guru of classical Indian Music. To me that doesn't fit with the page that comes from a teen magazine, that pops up when you hit the go button on his card.

Any ideas?

card #13

On the page you go to it refers to a change in the book "dreams of forgotten alchemists" this is from chapter 3. In a closed envelope it has Chapter 13 first line on it. Here it is:

Quote:
I now hasten to the more moving part of my story. I shall relate events that impressed me with feelings which, from what I had been, have made me what I am.

Does that make any sense?

I know aliceinwunderland speculated on this. THe poster says Rosabelle, Believe on it. That is supposedly what Houdini told his wife after his death during a seance.

Ustad is also the first name of the architect hired to build the Taj Mahal.

1st Place - ajp5319

Has anyone else noticed (on the Canada server) that the person in first place is ajp5319 with 176258876 points. Over 100 million. About 176 million of the points came from the game Skeet Shoot. That isn't actually possible is it? Because if it isn't just a cheat, I and all the other players have our work cut out for us.

I see it too (U.S.). I think he must have hacked it somehow. No way that is possible.
