It appears that there are quite a few with that call no. but they are all followed by a date....which we might be able to narrow down?

Could there be something in each of them?

d) There is a warning sign in the upper right of the frame during the "Hey teens" section. I cannot make it out. (4:55, 5:07, and slightly closer at 5:32)

g) The "class" system of the signs seems to imply that "A" is the highest (if it goes that high), and "Z" (if it goes that low) would be the lowest, since "K" is considered "higher" than "L".

i) The "equation" shot (6:31) seems to imply that planting the bulbs may help upgrade a Class "M" to a class "L" It also contains the EXACT drawing that the kids colour in the "Activity Place" (see 6a above)

d) "WARNING: Protected by guard dogs *illegible*"

g) Incorrect! A is the lowest. For kids to be safe, they need to be in buildings rated at least K, and "don't worry, all our schools are rated at least class L" means that L is greater than K, since they are capable of keeping the kids safe.

i) Not an equation. He's talking about school spirit, which is represented by two pennants: "M" and "#1", ie "Milwaukee is Number 1!"

And now for some speculation on Things I'm Pretty Sure I Know About GoDSEED:

1)It was created by BlackStar, then got out of control and had to be stopped.

2) It (he?) is buried with treasure deep beneath Milwaukee.

3) Though the main body is dormant, fragments escape the concrete tomb from time to time.

4) The fragments eat minors. The only warnings about the fragments are given to teens, and there's a drawing in the Activity Room of a parent sacrificing their kid to the fennel-with-teeth.

4) Rebreathers protect you from the fragments. At 6:40, the fragments only do a third as much damage to the kids that used the rebreathers before they were attacked.

5) Flare guns kill fragments. From the same clip, he kills two at once!

6) Hammers kill fragments? Check 6:25, where they use one provided by the Class K bunker.

And one piece of crazy speculation: GoDSEED doesn't like fennel. The ground of Milwaukee is being filled with fennel bulbs to create a protective layer between the citizens and the horror beneath.

[edit] Another couple observations: In the credits song, when the subtitle says "Champion Dynasty" the singer is singing "Soldier's Millennium"

Those same three girls keep showing up. What's up with that? 0:06, 0:43, 2:56, 3:02, and 10:05

the milwaukee tourism commission is answering the phone again. First I asked about the relocation program, and they asked for my email.

I started asking about if my teenage kids should be worried about these fragments and the guy was very insistent they'd keep us away from any of them. I started asking about how, and what can we do to stay safe and he said he had to go.

it will most likely be deleted in 24 hours. Wikipedia has strict rules about subjects being notable.

I tried again and got the voicemail again, but I'm sure I heard a bit more of the answerphone message this time... I'm sure he said "...the *something* team leadership summit has been postponed until further notice while we spray for *something; mice? moles?* and rats"...

Called the tourism line, asking about how to recognize a Go.D.S.E.E.D. fragment, got assured frantically that I wouldn't run into them and they'd give me the proper tools to protect myself from them. Also, I said "My friends tell me that I might need something called an 'M-Rotor'...?" I was told that they were really important [I could hear him saying something to someone on another line/phone off to the side along the lines of 'Don't worry, we'll get you those rebreathers, it'll be alright.']

Also, new development, he asked when I was planning to relocate to Milwaukee. I said either sometime this week or next weekend, and he sorta laughed and told me to check the forecast.

----

EDIT: Forecast for the next week is sunny, so something must be up.

AI8? Dunno

Could "RRR" be "Rose Reading Room"?

I thought it looked like a blackstar was drawn on the fennel.

There's a star on a couple of the drawings, but I'm referring to the drawing on the lower right.

Do you think that could be related to the M-rotor thing?

Also, can someone please post which phone numbers are working and which arent?

It may also be worth point out that, after the RRR, the '198HD' could be SHHD. Or, and I'm thinking this is likely, the HD actually translates back to letters... so, 84.

84 could represent a page number, or a year. Running *R-RMRR AI3.A23 through the NYPL Database shows that the call number has a volume range between 1976 and 1985. So maybe the 1984 volume?

Also (and complete speculation)-if 198 does equal SH, SH could be shorthand for shelf... just trying every library angle I can think of... Dunno

I just got through and spoke to "Joey" on 414 688 7035.

Sometimes it rings through to a voicemail (you can leave a message), and sometimes they will answer. If you don't get through to a live human at first, leave it a few minutes and try again.

Joey sounds rather grumpy Very Happy
