Yeah, I did the same thing, but there's almost nothing on there. Seems like a half built webpage. Not even half. I also found movewire.net, but it's just a splash image. I think it might not be related, because it's just not very well done.

this seems really interesting, think I'll hop aboard.

about the blackstarglobalservices.net site...if it is in-game its possible that we werent supposed to find this yet

looking around though it doesnt seem to fit...first off the address is in Califonia. also the descriptions of the company doesnt fit what we know about the in-game company, nor do any of the partners seem familar.

This could be absolutely nothing at all, but can anyone else in the NYC area confirm if it is the Grace building that they are using to represent Blackstar? The building overlooks the NYPL so if I can get out of work early enough tomorrow, I can probably check out both. Though I have no idea if the building used for Blackstar is even relevant at this point.

Checking out the source code on the Testomonials part of the Blackstar site, it seems the only comment is by a man called John Doe...

EDIT: Ignoring the fact that there's a random giant picture of a planet/moon covering the content, but also the website gives absolutely nothing away about what they actually do, or what services they offer. Their contact section seems to be pretty vague too.

Also, new development, he asked when I was planning to relocate to Milwaukee. I said either sometime this week or next weekend, and he sorta laughed and told me to check the forecast.

EDIT: Forecast for the next week is sunny, so something must be up.

I called on Friday and he asked me when I was planning on relocating. I said probably not before summer, unless the incentives from Blackstar proved enticing. He said it was okay, there was plenty of time.

He also asked me if I had any degrees that Blackstar would find useful. I told him I had a degree in Physics, and he said there were plenty of openings in the Physics building.

He took my email, but the connection was fading in and out (cell phone on his end). I could also hear a little girl trying to talk to him and laughing.

it will most likely be deleted in 24 hours. Wikipedia has strict rules about subjects being notable.

Actually, it's not yet been deleted (and it's been a while since creation), so if you could add details to it I'd appreciate it. However if it stays stagnant (nobody from here has edited it since the mention), then you are improving it's chances of deletion.

Or: By saying "It'll probably be deleted, so don't contribute" you are increasing the chances of deletion. I'm hoping that doesn't happen. Thanks to anyone who chooses to contribute!

This ARG does not belong on Wikipedia. if someone else doesn't delete the article, then i probably will. If you want a wiki article, then there are plenty of other options. I'm sure someone on here will create one if you ask nicely.

You're right, that could certainly be the same briefcase. So what is the connection between Robot Arm and Glasses Guy?

Plus, has anyone noticed that there seems to be a robot guy made out of tin-foil in this picture?

oops, looks like someone already has...so what is the connection between the Tin Foil man, the Robot Arm and Glasses Guy? Plus, there is the cowboy hat...with the red star...and the A on the side...

I called 414-688-7035 bit ago, got the hard-to-hear message, saying i should call 414-688-8914 with questions. So I did. I didn't think to ask the guy's name, and fFor those who have already called and talked about smart things, some of this might possibly be old news.

I wanted to know about Blackstar, and Dark Dollars. The guy i talked to was quite helpful. I started by asking what projects Blackstar is involved in, and are they hiring.

Quote:
Blackstar is a valued member of the community. They are a semi-private corporation, involved in the rebuilding and revitalizing of Milwaukee. They are currently hiring -- I think they are always hiring! Do you have a name and an email address I can send materials to? (I give him my name and address) Okay, great, We expect that should go out on Wednesday. Are there any other questions I can help you with? (I ask about Dark dollars "Are they some sort of ad hoc cooperative currency?") *laugh* I can see you are not from the Milwaukee area. After The Catastrophe, we realized we needed something of empirical value to guarantee our protection. What we decided on was to forge those shards which are underneath us all.

With that, we politely ended the call, as he was saying he had another call coming through.

Here's what I get as yet: Blackstar cast the Godseed into the void under the town, and is presumably in charge of fForging Dark Dollars, which are used to keep the horrid tendrils of the Godseed at bay in your daily lives.

Interesting stuff, yes?

I just called the MTC again, and I was able to understand a little more of the message.

The first voice says "The _______ is temporarily postponed while we spray for mold and rats." and the female voice says "We must be out for a dip, because we just swam by your call".

This makes me think of the flood image in the first video...

if you press 1 to ask about the Champion Dynasty, it goes immediately to a voicemail.

What's with deletionist administrators skipping VfD?

I heard "...the *something* team leadership summit has been postponed until further notice while we spray for *something* and rats"...

It sounded like "moles and rats", so mold/mould is probably right Smile

I have no clue what you're talking about. But we can create our own wiki beyond the strict rules of wikipedia, just like we did with alot of other ARGs (Cloverfield, The Dark Knight, ect).
