The lip balm in that ad isn't sold in the US. I know because I use it. It's manufactured in Bamberg, Germany. Probably doesn't mean a damn thing but I found it odd since I have to purchase it overseas or via Amazon from an overseas store.

Really? Dang, what's so great about Labello lip balm that you would import it? Does the container do a tap dance for you or somethin'?

For the price, it should tap dance and tell time.

Yeah, exactly!
Hey you know what? I just looked it up out of Ye Olde Curiosity, and it seems that Beiersdorf AG(Labello's parent company) actually does sell it here in the states, just under a different name: Nivea Lip Care
I thought you might like to do a comparison of the two and see if buying Nivea instead would save yourself some greenbacks!
Whoa, did this just go as off-topic as I think it did?

Yea. I've tried the Nivea too. I like Labello better. It's a little different.
(thanks for trying to save my money hah)
As for the off-topic, this seems to be a slow mover. Hope nobody minds our lip balm convo.

Ha yeah, I'm the kind of guy who can't stand to pass up a bargain and save money, if possible. I take after my mother, I guess...

Dustin replied to our comments on his blog. He wants to know if we're with "The Company"

It might be a good opportunity to test your bullshitting skills. I told him that I know of the company and am in contact with them somewhat.

I was just reading through his blog / responses to comments. Twice now - I've noticed that when he uses the word "help" it's been more in the context of "help me" - but thinly veiled.
For example:

hmmm, not sure if they are hiring. Not even sure how they found me I guess. I take a lot of surveys.
What contact have you had with bullercade industries? They seem to be pretty solid.... yeah...that product...it really help me!
I'm probably pointing out the obvious - but you know..

Hey, I'm new here. This'll be my first ARG so I'm not really sure what I'm s'posed to be looking for.
I noticed a couple of things.
Bullercade Industries has a real arcade game theme happening. From the name, the Mario-style sound effects in the video opening, and the fact that an arcade machine featured prominently in the video.
They also state on Bullermandotnet that they're expanding their scope into "reality", implying that they normally deal with something else.
Dustin mentioned that he's been trying out the strange products, so i made a list of all the 'products' shown so far.
A bottle of glass cleaner(couldn't figure out the brand), a can of Monster energy drink, an arcade machine running MAME, an Apple phone, and the Labello stuff.
The first 3 were apparently already in the house when he moved in (including a can of soft drink on a desk!?), and the phone was probably his to begin with.
Also most people voted for 'check through peep hole' and he ended up with a black eye. Did that come after the voting, or was it just a coincidence.
Don't know how important any of this is.
