LES

LES means lower east side.

I don't think it's so high budget that they have special effects or set dressers.

I don't know if you can see it any better in this one, but what at first appears to be a bug in the youtube member pic now seems to be a face. Those look like teetch to me.

I added a page to the wiki on various Blackstar references in Wikipedia. I'm sure they don't lead anywhere, but the two IP addresses that added the information are 69.86.84.33 and 212.54.24.198. Please add to the page if anyone finds other references!

A geolocate on 69.86.84.33 gives
Quote:
Host name: user-12lcl11.cable.mindspring.com.
IP address: 69.86.84.33
Location: Flushing, NY, UNITED STATES

and on 212.54.24.198
Quote:
Host name: e212-54-24-198.elisa-laajakaista.fi.
IP address: 212.54.24.198
Location: FINLAND

Someone mentioned on page 5 that this is probably a proxy, but I'm wondering if the NY location could help figure out who's behind this.

It's worth noting that any location from an IP address is approximate at best, so take this info as you will.

Hey guys! I've been lurking for a while...

That is actually a screencap from when the "Young Professionals" are dancing, at the "He doesn't know, does he?" scene.

It's the girl's hair.

All the mentioning of Black Star, Dark Dollars, burying the family tree in the ground, and the basketball player holding the family tree up to the sun really point to the fact that the sun somehow plays a key role in all of this.

Are the fragments afraid of the dark? Powered by the sun? They focus on night life in the TIMM vid... does that mean it's safer to go out at night?

Hey!

hey all, first post but i've been following this since friday. Props to bigT for the NYPL find! Anyways, it seems to me that the thing the basketball guy holds up at the end of the second video is different than the normal "family tree". Could it be possible that this is actually a godseed fragment? it does seem to hurt glasses guy and it doesn't really look like a fennel bulb. In fact it seems to have a very similar shape to the godseeds they show in the first video. What do you all think?

Another guest/lurker here! Just called. Got Joey on my first try. I was a little nervous as I'd never done such a thing before, but this is the gist of the conversation.

Quote:

Me: Hello, I'm planning on moving to Milwaukee in the spring with my family. However, I watched the video, and don't have a flare gun or re-breather currently. Certainly I'll need these items. You can help with this, right?

Joey: Let me go check. *Sounds of him checking*

Joey: Alright, we have a pretty good supply here.

Me: That's good, but if I may, will my parents and other older members of my family be safe? Will my pets be safe!? Why does it seem that only I need these items?

Joey: Well, that all depends on if they follow the protocol.

Me: er, okay

Joey: I hope I have answered your questions in a very efficient way.

Joey: I have to go now. I hate this job.

Me: Well, I hope it goes better for you soon, or you find something better.

Joey: You're very sweet. Bye.

Heh, didn't get asked for my e-mail. Perhaps its because I'm not planning on leaving for awhile yet? And what's this about protocol? And I don't remember all his words exactly, but at one point it sounded like he wanted me to ask more. Ack, too bad I'm not as good at these things yet.

Called joey, ended up going something like this :

Me : Hey I was wanting some information about relocating to milwaukee?
Joey : Did you try calling russo yet?
Me : Yeah, I've been calling over the past few days, haven't been able to get through.
Joey : Yeah he's all over the place... Swamped at work right now (something about copying two sided pages and stapling them).
Me : Sucks man, sounds like you're swamped.
Joey : Yeah, tell me about it. Good luck. *click*

Oh well. Hopefully leaving russo a message with my email a few days ago got me on the list.

Hair

Yup. It's her hair. She's standing with her back to him at that point.

The M-Rotor thing sounds like they're more talking about people or emotions than actual devices. And they talk about "leaks" which sounds like information leaks. And personnel being jettisoned... and right after that they both leave the bar.

I just have to say... wow, welcome to unfiction all you new people Wink
Seems to be a lot of traffic in this thread from newcomers and lurkers. Always a good thing Cool

I'm pretty impressed with the flexibility of the people who answer the calls. Lives up to the apparent quality of the videos; it does seem to imply a decent budget here.

argh! I hate my sticky keyboard / remote desktop =P

Hopefully they will send out the packets tomorrow and we can find out what all of this is about, or at least be a little more informed what all this budget is being spent on...

Well kids, I did it. I called Joey and brought up the cross-species mating, or what have you. I apologize for the language and content in advance. This is the basics of how the convo went, the rest was uneventful.

Quote:
Me: Look, man. I've got a family. I've got kids. I need to know what kind of 'non humans' are gonna be trying to have sex with my children, ya know?

Joey: Well, it's not really something that is meant for children. I mean... it's mostly for adults with open minds.

Me: Alright, well what about me, Joey? What happens if I wanna get away from the wife and kid and fuck somethin'? What ya got for me?

(At this point, Joey stifles a laugh and goes silent. After a moment or two, he speaks again but in serious voice.)

Joey: Whoa, whoa, no need for the language, man.

Me: My bad, my bad.

Joey: I thought you were supposed to be a father?

Me: Yeah, well... the kid ain't here, is he?

Joey: Have a nice day, sir.

At first, I was like "Damn, I could've gotten a lead out of that if I hadn't cursed." But then I remembered the language Russo was using. And then I realized... he almost broke character and had to take a moment for himself. Cause you had to have heard the tone in my voice when I said it. I think he bailed from the call because he was dumbfounded. Haha. [/quote]
