I just got in touch with Mike. I asked if I should wait until I turn 20 to move, and he said I should move as soon as possible. He took my name and e-mail, and said the informations packets have been delayed until Monday morning, due to Thanksgiving. He said it should clear up a lot of questions about the relocation process.

EDIT: When the subtitle says "Champion Dynasty" I think she says "Soldier's Millennium"

I'm pretty sure she's just singing "Slow Jazz Millennium." It's the chorus of the song and she sings it in an earlier part.

Truly Alternate Reality
What year?

Is it a current alternate reality? Or is it in a near future or distant future?

Do they ever mention what year it is in the calls?

according to this http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763098.html Milwaukee is the 22nd largest us city in 2005. If something wiped out people/cities, that wouldn't be true anymore.

Just got off the phone with Joey. Called the main MTC number on the front page. Gav me another number to call Mike. Haven't been able to get through but still trying. I have some good questions.

Quote:

Joey: Hello, MTC - this is Joey(?) (sounds bored)

Me: Hi there. I had just seen your video for Milwaukee. I'm a young technology-based professional looking to move to Milwaukee and just wanted to ask a couple questions.

Joey: Sure

Me: Well - the first was about housing. I'm sort of a paranoid person - is it possible to get an upgrade to the class of Blackstar housing for protection?

Joey: (slight pause and obviously more excitement in his voice than before) That's a REALLY good question. You'll have to ask Russo about that. (speaks off to side) Mike Russo is the guy.(back to me) Yeah - he's out there walking around. Mike's kind of like a beat cop. Let me give you his number. 414-688-8914

Me: Oh, ok - I'll call him.

Joey: Can I get your email (not subtle)

Me: Sure (give him email)

Joey: Thanks

(end)

Can't wait to talk to Mike. Very Happy

Someone should try to get personal with Joey, ask him how he likes living in Milwaukee. He's obviously disgruntled about something. Also, see if he opens up a little about why he doesn't trust Blackstar.

Mike: Well, we'd be delighted for you to move here, as opposed to one of our other active cities, like Grand Rapids or (i THINK he said Salt Lake?). There's no reason to be afraid, people are actively living out their lives. Any other questions?

This suggests one of two things:

1. This is a post-apocalyptic setting, and a lot of cities in the US were wiped out. The active cities are the cities being rebuilt/repopulated. Seems unlikely, since people have pointed out the 22nd largest city thing (could be propaganda though so people aren't aware that most of the country is toast).

2. Milwaukee isn't the only city that Black Star has decided to inhabit while tinkering with Godseed, and the other active cities are other test sites.

One more thing, someone should call Mike Russo and tell him they are after the treasure and dont believe in "all those rumors" or whatever Treasure Hunter says in the video. The response might be helpful in figuring out how Terry Nanny relates to Blackstar and the MTC.

Good idea. Part of me thinks when Terry says "You remind me of someone, Treasure Hunter. *wink*" that he's talking about us, the people playing along and trying to decipher all of this. Or it could be referring to a protagonist in the movie/video game/story that this is all leading up to.

i guess i took that as Terry referring to himself, i generally get that from winks. first time poster, active participant, etc.

I was talking to my friend about this, and he pointed out that all of those cities are located next to large bodies of water...

That's also a possibility, hadn't thought of that.

Grand Rapids is in Michigan, and according to Google Maps, right across the lake from Milwaukee. Salt Lake City is quite a bit away from those two places though.

These locations must be important, because Joey seemed to throw them out without prompting.

Perhaps it's the proximity of all three cities to lakes. That would tie in with the flood picture in the TIMM video.

EDIT: Heath beat me to it!

EDIT 2: Austin is not near a large body of water.

I really think water is a key part of this. Maybe the Godseed attacked all of the country, and the only cities that survived fought them off by flooding the city (perhaps what they meant when they said they had to destroy Milwaukee?). Or, the water is key to whatever work Black Star is doing with the Godseed.

that makes sense.. don't put too much money in Salt Lake, I'm not positive that's what he said (i was scrambling for a pen when he was telling me the cities). I'll look at the cities on the lake to see if any of them ring a bell.

A little off topic, but I just found this video, also by Syndyne. It's pretty funny.

That's actually an interesting connection between the two groups other than Black Star who are credited on the TIMM website - Howcast has been created by Nim Projects and Syndyne director Thomas Bender has uploaded 27 how-to videos on it. All the ones I've watched are really funny, and Seena Jon (the Cello Player and Basketball Player) appears in a number of them...

Whoah! This is totally OOG, but I just found the robot man in one of the how-to videos.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Compare http://i36.tinypic.com/kcjc3p.jpg with the TIMM screencap.

I'm not sure that's OOG. Seems a little specific - especially when coupled with the poster for Hoopestown - mentioning being in space.

So - robot men and astronauts. Hmmm...

Awesome! During the slideshow, they move quickly past an image that looks like a flooded passageway:

and as everyone pointed out - that's not the only flood reference.

Coastal cities?

Most major cities are built next to large bodies of water or rivers.

Las Vegas being an exception.

Find out if any coastal cities are left. Maybe global warming has done the coastal cities in. ask about seattle or new york.

When you call the MTC, the message says that the 2009 teen leadership conference is postponed while they spray for mold and rats, and the next voice says "we must be out for a dip, because we swam right by your call!"

Water's definitely important.
