I just called both numbers again. No luck.

On Joey's number, the automated message (after the one about the leadership retreat) with the lady says something and then "Bonne Chance" (good luck in French). Did people catch what she said before that?

Also, has anyone actually successfully paged Mike Lewis? It asks for a number for him to call back. I didn't want to give out my real number, so I didn't do it. Has anyone entered their number and gotten a callback?

Godseed singular? Did Black Star create/unearth/find/run tests on Godseed in Milwaukee, and the resultant fragments spread across the country?

Wichita is in Kansas, which a good deals off. So the SA call verifies that "disturbances" (likely fragments) are affecting more than just Milwaukee.

Kansas is not near a body of water though. So I'm guessing Kansas is toast.

EDIT: This is starting to look like a post-apocalyptic scenario on at least a country-wide scale.

EDIT2: We also have some interesting info to flesh out Russo. We know he's been referred to as a "Local Beat Cop" and that he doesn't work for Black Star anymore. Rogue Black Star employee who is now helping out the common people in a kind of underground resistance?

Hmm. Above the Rocky Mountains. If the Rocky Mountains ran east-west, I'd assume everything south of there was gone. But since they run north-south, maybe it means the west coast as we know it now is flooded and all that's left of dry land is the rocky mountains? I'm not sure.

Just called Joey. He sounded chipper. I asked him a few ?'s. Don't feel like writing out a transcipt. This is what I learned.

After standard email info was given I asked how long Joey has been in Milwaukee. He said it was recent, "this time."

Joey has a nice little 2 bedroom in the canning district, but since it was handled through Blackstar he couldn't tell me how many Dark Dollars it cost a month. He said its easy to find roommates. Especially because we should always travel in three's. I asked him if a group of four or five is safer than three. He said it really depends on the number of flare guns, and rebreathers.

When I asked if the guns and rebreathers were more important than the groups of threes he put the phone down and I heard yelling, "...YOU CRAZY?!"

When I asked if there were other cities with active Blackstar recruitment he said he has heard rumblings but was not at liberty to say. He started yelling aside again, and I told him he didn't get paid enough for this. He laughed and we ended the call.

Nothing new really, but I thought I'd add my two cents, and tried to get a little more info on Joey.

Between all the calls that have been made, has anyone asked about January 16th, the date the timer is counting down to? If someone asked and reported on it earlier then I apologize for missing it. If not though I think that it should be covered.

I brought you guys information coming back from the TOOOOOOOMB!

I called mike, got through for once, and actually managed to get some useful information from him. The age thing (warning teenagers, not the adults), has been bugging me, so that's what I asked him.

Actual information:
He said age has not been proven to have any involvement with being attacked by a GsF, but that he personally believes it does. He mumbled something after this about not living through the "300 troubles" (I'm almost sure that's what he said). He also got out of his banter tone of voice when he explained that teenagers needed to be protected more than adults because of "raging hormones, changing bodies...". He very specifically said the entity was biologically created, meaning it ISN'T a robot, and mumbled something about it being involved in "alternative energy". He also said the information packets would be sent out next monday, not yesterday, because an intern had "problems".

Mike : This is mike.
Me : Hey, mike, I was hoping to confirm you got my email when I left a message, and was also hoping to ask you a few questions.
Mike : Great, great! What's your name?
Me : (I give him my name, and then spend a good minute going over the spelling of my email. Still not sure he got it, oh well; my fault for not making an easier one).
Mike : Alright and what sort of questions did you have?
Me : Well, I was just wondering how big of a role age plays in the Go.d.s.e.e.d. attacks.. I noticed you warned teenagers, but not the adults.
Mike : Well, you know, we haven't set up a study or anything, but statistically speaking, it doesn't appear that age plays any role in the attacks, but we also recognize that teenagers are entering a tumultuous time in their lives, what with raging hormones, changing bodies... the last thing they need to be worried about is being attacked by a biologically created replacement for god (something) alternative energy. However, personally, I do think that teenagers are more susceptible to attack, but I can't prove it. I (I think he says "haven't lived through") the 300 troubles (I'm almost sure that's what he said). Ok, we should have an information packet out on monday that'll answer any other questions you have, including some information from our corporate friends at Blackstar. We were supposed to have it out this monday, but we have a new intern... and he's had some problems.... Alright, take care and good luck!

Talked to Joey. no transcript this time because i didn't do very well with the call. told him i was from Fragmentary Containment at Black Star, asked if Larose was around, he said for me to talk to Russo. told me about his job. apparently he doesn't even know what Russo actually does and doesn't really have much awareness of what he does either. says milwaukee's great and that he gets laid 7 nights a week, sometimes (or oftentimes) with things other than human depending on his mood.

he specifically said there wouldn't be a need for a Containment unit in Pittsburgh, but that he had heard rumblings of that kind of thing expanding out west.

The motif of reproduction and virility is again furthered by that call with Mike (hormones, changing bodies), and Joey getting laid every night. Also of note, the new significance of water can tie in as a symbol of life/virility/birth.

300 Troubles? That is fascinating...

So teens didn't live through the 300 troubles... Meaning at least 19 years ago something happened in the timeline. When did Black Star start up?

So it seems we need to be getting more information from Mike, rather than from Joey. If I get through to him again, I'm going to ask him about Wichita (Did anybody do that yet?) by saying I live there and asking for info on getting from Wichita to Milwaukee.

I misread your transcript. That makes sense too.

He was saying that he thinks the GsF preferentially attack teens, but he doesn't know for sure because he didn't live through the 300 troubles.

That implies the 300 Troubles was a recent event... perhaps the first big attack of the GsF that wiped out a lot of the country. Since he didn't experience it first hand (not sure why?), he wouldn't be able to comment too much on the preferences of GsF (he can't give personal anecdotes).

I just got to thinking, I bet these phone calls are going to be used by SYNYSYNE in some way, perhaps for another video/clue. Surely they're recording these conversations for themselves, since they've made it clear that they want phone calls above all else.
