I agree with Natas. I amost e-mailed Andy myself. It's indicative that his e-mail was on the first two posts, but is not on the later ones. You did right, methinks.

I'm also considered writing to "Our BenEfactorss" and asking exactly why we should be owing them loyalty.

I just wrote this to the G A Project:

Quote:
Dear "my BenEfactorss,"

I am not the traitor, not the echo. However, to expect such loyalty from us, I would suggest you give us some more information. Just who are you, and why should we follow a pair of hackers who could be seen as terrorists? The "Hawk," as you call him appears to be sharp, and seems to have an idea how to track you down. Following you could lead to us all being in trouble, and leaving us ignorant won't help us in the least.

Can you tell us anything more? I admit I feel slighly insulted to have been dragged into something so shady without foreknowledge.

Thanks,

Steve

I just emailed them to claiming I was the traitor, asking what they wanted as proof of my loyalty. Just need to wait now. Also has anyone managed to get into the dashboard file?

Dear GA Project:

I am a traitor. Can I show you how loyal I am as a traitor?

Thanks in advance,

the loyal traitor

Well that's an understatement... You do it amazingly well, though. Wink

ANyway, my quick response...

Who is this "hawk" you speak of? I know not what you refer to, and will not react kindly to unfounded accusations.

Explain yourself and the situation, lest you anger me in to action.

You do realise they were indicating Andy as the "Hawk" right?

Yes, I know, but I can't help but stir the pot every now and then.

Yeah didn't think it was like you to be purposely blonde, Night lol Wink

Edit: And as I said previously why would his email be there, if not to contact. Regardless I did so, quite nonchalontly.

Andy,

Hey bro... Your blog is very, very interesting... And quite humorous.

I found it by accident and must say that I'm a little baffled by it though mate haha; what is an 'IEN' or *the* 'IEN'?

And that Sophia sounds like she's stuck up her own arse, is she really that hoity toity?

Anyway... I'm sorry to hear something you've been working on for a long period can go down the drain so fast, I know how that feels. But surely you guys managed to back everything up, no? - Ah well, at least I'm not a tax payer Wink

Anyway good to see you're on the case with figuring out an IP for these guys though.

They replied...

Email back from Andrew/Andy/Andi.

Quote:
Hey, 'Leyton'...is that a race track? Sorry!

You know how it is...big Government Agency. Typical bit of external espionage...or though,
saying that, it could be internal!

Are you all with the Media or something? I've been getting messages since this morning!!

I can't really disclose any immediate details on the chronicles of the Eye Network's ins and outs,
but I can say that I'm closing in on these inter-fuckers that crashed it.

A bit crass...but, well, as you say...it wasn't directly our money right?!

I pipped up for a back-up solution (bloody Windows servers), data recovery contingencies...all of it. But that corporate ass-kisser Sophia and her rich daddy, refused to spit out the wads. Hello?!! This is Mi:5 we're talking about people!! Not...I don't know...the Millenium Dome! They would have used this everyday.

At least I can ride on the ol' "I told you so". Never fails.

Wahey...one more hour to go and then I'm outta here.

- Andi

He caught onto my name, being from the UK. Leytonstone is a place in London lol; it's not my real name Very Happy

I've replied.

Quote:
Andi,

Far be it from me to try and fool you, I'm pretty sure you've figured out Leyton Stone isn't my real name esp' being in the United Kingdom. I'd prefer to keep my name under wraps and no I'm not media and to be honest I have no clue about these other emails, either. I am merely an internet observer who happened across your blog but mate, you seem to have a real big problem w/ hackers and the like... Must be some major work going on.

I understand you can't disclose too much information and that's fine, being Joe Public and all I wouldn't expect anything more from yourself, working for the people you do. Mi:5 and all that. No chance you could elaborate on the whole "Eye Network" though? I am severely interested and happen to have Government interests vested in, myself.

I understand if you can't divulge any further though; I mean you don't even know me so it's fine,

-L.S

I find it funny that he referred to it as "The Millenium Dome" and not "The o2" as it's been known for a few years now.

Edit: The only "Eye Network" I've come across is http://www.eyenetwork.com - Which is a site for Video Conferencing, seems entirely OOG.

Another reply from "Andi"

Quote:
Hi again 'Leyton',

I'm just an external long-serving contractor myself...having signed possibly the biggest confidentiality agreement, this side of Area 51.

Anyhoo man, I'm shooting off in just over ten minutes. Thank God!

Tempus Fugit,

- A.T.

Tempus Fugit means "Time Flies" in latin. I didn't see any kind of hint, subtle or not, at anything for us to latch onto here; it seems he really is; as the benefactors said, just to be observed not interacted with... Confused

I'm adding him to MSN anyway lol.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but what about this game makes it controversial? I was lured in by the flashy sub-header on this thread.
