"been told from a friend that the site was monitored by the mets CCU and CTP for 24hrs when there found out it was a game/public stunt they wernt bothered, i think the countdown timer had them worried"

I don't even know what all those alphabet groups are, but they sound real: could this then be true, or would Rob assume that I knew it was with the game context?

If so , this could potentially get people in trouble, or at least under investigation.....? Ever happen to your knowledge?

sites like these are always monitored for security reasons.
pictures of landmarks that have already been targeted, pentagon, missiles, president elect, houses of parliament makes some people panic especially as the UK and US are more likely to be attacked its just routine you would be surprised how many sites are flagged for monitoring in the UK alone

Well when you began emailing people we weren't sure whether you were an I.G (In Game) Character, or not... So I'm assuming he was just playing along. The "CCU" could have stood for the Counter e-Crime Unit. But CTP as far as I'm aware is actually "Crime Transport Police" as opposed to Counter Terrorist Police; which doesn't exist in the UK under that name, it's known as the CTC here (Counter Terrorism Command).

 		Well, first of all, calling her a troll is kind of harsh.

I'm the one that initially invited her over to this thread to post possible theories. Just because she is not familiar with the TOS of the site and forum courtesies does not make her a troll.

I remember about a year ago when I was new to the forums and people were kind and helped me along when I didn't know what I was doing. If they had called me a troll and had been as unfriendly as you guys, I would have left.

Can't we try to be a little more understanding and try to encourage open discussion. (or just politely nudge someone in the right direction). I know it's one of the reasons I stayed around. Thanks guys/gals.
