Singing for my supper
Since there hasn't been anything new for a while, I took a closer look at the images contained on the first page at http://www.thegaproject.moonfruit.com They are all embedded in Flash, so it's going to take someone with better skills and software than me to open the .swf files and dig out the pics for processing, if anyone thinks that's needed. But, I thought it wouldn't hurt to establish a description for these things. So here goes:

I've been tryna crack the PW for "Dashboard.rar" for ages now with absolutely no bloody luck.

So guys and girls, is it possible to decipher what a fax/modem is 'saying'?? I thought it was but not sure.

I know Nighthawk deciphered the number dialled but the modem noise afterwards; is it possible?

 		Leyton got me into this and now I'm also stuck on the password. I'm loathe to bruteforce because it's definitely not the best solution... but I'm pretty close. >_<

EDIT: Dashboard... car... plane... jump... jump cord... parachute... asdf.

 		modem tones
technically It should be possible, I have an old modem in the loft....................just need to hash an amplifier to play it into the modem and then its easy to read the data stream out..........tho It may take me time to decode it or I can post the raw stream...........will give it a go tomorrow

Nighthawk already got the phone number from the modem tones. Is there other stuff you can extract?

Yeah, the actual stream/noise it makes when connected to the fax, you know the weird modem/fax 'scream'? Night got the number from the dialling of numbers right @ the beginning of the .mp3

ETA: Just to say that weird code string I got up there; ONLY happens when I type in "Tempus Fugit" as the PW.

Some might remember Andy said it in his final email to me; it means "Time Flies" in latin.

 		I dont think so....nding on whether it is a modem or fax their should be some'handshaking' coming back from the other machine but I dont think it would contain any usable data.

How come it appears that only one person has actually recieved the dashboard file in an email????

I think maybe a couple of people did; but once someone posts it here we don't tend to repeat the info. I didn't get it, I just had Natas send it to me.

I'm still finding it weird that Tempus Fugit is the only string of all PWs that have been tried lately, brings up that gibberish. Maybe I'm onto something?

I honestly feel we've used up all avenues though.

I've even tried Southwark and Bournemouth, Andi, Andy, Andrew, Trickett, loyal, loyalty, GAP, Millenium Dome, Millenium, o2, 02 etc.
