Well, I hope this helps...I asked the Gift of Wiki about Half-life and it gave me this article...

Which seems more plausible than a video game. Apparently, when the number of half-lives elapsed equals 3, the fraction remaining is 1/8. The percentage remaining is 12.5

Any thoughts?

Oh yes - and Happy Thanksgiving, lovelies.

Very interesting S.P.I... Would kind of make sense too. But then what the heck kind of 'hint' is it, from Andy to myself?!

LOL

Perhaps... Andi's some kind of subject and his "half-life" is now @ 3?

I've been trying to keep with with all the related verified information and the speculation (which there has been a TON of). It is very hard to do, I hope this gets moved to CF soon, cuz frankly I'm confused. There's a new speculation thrown out every two seconds. Anyways. I don't know if the mods read these individual posts requesting to be moved or if they do it on their own accord. Either way I hope it's soon. Wink

To be honest. The only "Verified" Info is...

I'm Recruit 37. Someone else is Recruit 112. Andy's f'd off to Cornwall and left me w/ the cryptic "halflife3" message. The Unity are out to get him b/c someone snitched. They've hacked the Satellite Array. They're gunning for, or insinuating they're gunning for - Somewhere near The Pentagon.

Everything else IMO is just wild spec.

I find in interesting that half life 3 equals 1/8.
"The answer is 8"
Perhaps the clue was thought too obscure by the game creators, or else we didn't crack it fast enough so they just put the answer out in the open.

That "clue" was figured out pages back... The Answer Is 8 thing; it got us the "Hawk Package.rar"

I still am unsure what it means and I don't think I'm gonna find out considering Andy doesn't want to seem to use email anymore.

Has anyone else noticed that Andy's blog started the exact same day as the GA Project was brought to people's attention, both here and at ATS? Seems more than a coincidence to me. If it were a real blog, I'd have reasonably expected to see blog entries older than a couple of days.

Opening the Gibson in WinRar was inspired. How the hell did Leyton figure THAT out?

As for the Dashboard.rar password, from what information were we supposed to parse 'Composite' as a solution?

I suspect Andy is closer to the truth than we are led to believe...

Oh... and why not look at buildings either 4.2 miles from either the Pentagon or the Washington Monument (another Silent Monument) 'As the crow flies'?[/i]... or how about 4.2 miles ABOVE the Pentagon...?

I REALLY don't mean this to come across mean just an explaination if you're not used to how ARG's work. The "PM" (Person behind the game) Probably started the blog and then went and posted all his, what we call Trailheads or Rabbit Holes, on the forums he thought might benefit from playing along... Would explain them both being 'checked out' or 'worked on' from the same day.

As for me Raring the Gibson pic? The email kind of told me to use a Roshan (I think that's how it's spelled) - I googled Roshan and it told me it was another name for a RAR thing lol.

Good look on the other thing about being 'above' the Pentagon.

I received the following, in response to my question of when it will be time.

Recruit 68,

Good. You. Appear. To. Have passed...the system's. Test.

Many. Gave up. Many. Failed.

For perseverance. And. Those that carry. Advanced. Skills.

Will be rewarded.

...In time.

- Your Benefactors

edit to add} I sent them a follow up msg confessing I was not the one with the advanced skills but a friend did helped me.

let's see if they give something else for that.

The Hawk moves, recruit?

This. Is. News. To the Unity.

The. System. Will. Acknowledge. A. Decision. Will. Be. Made.

- Your Benefactors

Shortly after Andy's site was hacked. I may be the informant.

You have just made a stable time loop. The order of messages being sent back and forth is all messed up from your perspective. And this is not a game. You are witnessing two parties locked in a deadly hunt after each other.

Nothing else I can say will make any difference right now, so go and figure out what you you are looking at. You may get bigger surprise than you expect.

If I were you, I would also try 'λ3' (lambda3) as password, or some variant of it. 'λ' is a sign used in physics for measuring half-life of nuclear material (as in naturally occurring nuclear decay).

"Simulate, emulate, imitate..." Not...

And a message for The.Unity.

-----------------------------------------
You. Have. Sentenced. Yourself.
Your. Need. Shall. Be. Provided.

-----------------------------------------

I will not emulate, I will live it.

"Two can play this game", they also say.

I was thinking 4.2 miles below the pentagon? Though I think for that we would need to ask over at ATS.

Were still missing something from that .MP3 file. Any thoughts?

I sent an e-mail with the subject 'A3' and also asked for my recruit number. (I want to be cool, too!) Smile

Let's see if anything useful is e-mailed back.

ETA: You didn't say A 3. You said λ3. Dang it! Embarassed

EDIT THE SECOND: Dang it again! Andy is the one who was talking about Half Life 3, not the G.A. Project...but I sent it to them. Oy vey iz mir!
