EDIT: Does "INTERCEPTED" mean that Collin didn't receive the letter or was it copied and passed along?

EDIT:...And I am not sure if the correspondence was passed on to Collin the Informer or if INTERCEPTED means that Global Eyes kept it from him.

I do find it funny that someone infiltrated Salinger's outfit, (Red, AKA Tomislav Domaszewski) and his wife's name is Emma... And the wife of Collin the Informer is also named Emma... and Red has been on vacation to the United States... hmmmm....

Nice work! I spent a lot of time at this, and never saw that second character for what it was supposed to be. Of course, it seems glaringly obvious now... Very Happy

Sadly... once logged in, the available documents don't give us the list of corrupt names we're supposed to forward on to Salinger! (Though they do thicken the plot) Those must be accessible via an IBBC login, using the new password (found on the CD) and a still unknown username. ARGGG!!

In other news- the New York summary video is up, with surveillance photos and plot points. And the 'task' Salinger is asking of us has changed. He's no longer looking for that list of names (i.e. we've moved past that stage)... he now wants a username and password to access photos of a Global Eyes warehouse. Which we'll find by analyzing the London drop. Which we now have directions for (I assume they mean December, not September Wink )

Global Eyes Intranet
There have been 2 more links added to the /intranet page for Global Eyes, after logging in.

They are named Surveillance 01 and Surveillance 02, that direct to what appears to be a broken Quicktime movie for each. More digging into the source shows that the files can be found at the following location:

/intranet/vids/APT17NOV2006.mov <---Surveillance 01
/intranet/vids/ENT15NOV2006.mov <---Surveillance 02

Both would not play for me, either by clicking on the link provided or entering the path, and I couldn't figure out how to download the file only, without autoplaying in the browser. (maybe turning off the plugin will allow download) --EDIT -- disabling the Quicktime plugin worked to download the file

There also seems to be a path to /intranet/images/ but directory listing is denied (of course) and I have not been able to come up with any working image names, other than the correspondence pics listed.

I was hoping that imprint image would lead somewhere... Cool

EDIT 2 -- downloading the latest quicktime allowed files to play.

 		The videos played from the Global Eyes site seem to be clips from the movie, with a caption showing a camera number, as if they were part of a surveillance system, watching Salinger at his apartment and at a hotel.

Things I learned:
1. Salinger and his unknown female guest likes phala-phal.
2. Man waiting next to the elevator looks like the Harold Dunlevy on the unused Global Eyes Board of Directors .jpg located at /images/board_05.jpg.

I also found that if you download the mov files, they seem to be scrambled video with clear audio, but watching them on the site (by link or navigating the path) gives both video and audio. I am not sure if this is for copyright reasons or if there is something hidden. I tried to search for ways to hide info, or show hidden info, in a mov file, but I haven't had any luck.

I am looking forward to seeing what information is found in London.

 		Hmmm - I guess "Londoners" is just me at the minute? Anyone know of other forums this game is being tracked on? Be good to co-ordinate with someone just in case work gets in the way (confident it won't, but you never know).

EDIT: One other thing - anyone know how to pronounce Betjeman?
