1984 is an amazing book. It completely changed my whole prespective. Currently, it doesn't look like there's any Orwellian themes in this ARG. We don't know if Black Star is like Big Brother. Right now, this ARG is more like Jericho (that cancelled CBS show).

I even Lurk with a account...

Jagoda's might be behind this...he seems to be the only character that still freely unbrainwashed human...although he appears to be the only one eating food...hence the pic in the anime ending of Jagoda, why does his name have a museum named after him? which is a class C. Coincidently the only place u will find actual art (in any form) is the museum not the stupid TV exhibit, but the childrens "activity place". Somehow the only art the kids are able to do has to be on the picture of the family tree. On those pictures u see horrible coloring even for a child, and the moral of the story on the child whose father was taken away by blackstar, she is oddly apologetic to Blackstar for the sins of her father? Basically, the key is Jagoda...he's the only Overweight person in all the scenes, making him a "new" Milwaukee rarity. and why is he eating in every scene, always alone, always eating like a greedy kid. The pictures of Lucy and her gang, and Hillary Duff. Well i've found the episode that picture came from. It's "I love Lucy Episode 36" and i'm not sure if the picture @ 01:37 the woman is to appear to be shouting "More Chocolate"? becuase her actual line was "Speed it Up a lil" when she yells...(Question) Like the cut scenes with the words at the bottom...those are just randomly related words all describing one thing. What your life could be like in Milwaukee, I honestly think Jagoda and BlackStar are in it together. Simply because he's the only featured milwaukean that seems to think freely, in a society full of puppets...
like i was telling my family members who have no idea what i'm talking about. TN never once said "Women and Men" during the whole 10:58. He uses catch phrases like "Guys and Gals" (soooo mid-50's) what i'm saying is this....maybe we're the odd ones...maybe they have sex with us and we're the "other" speicies. Maybe this is Black Stars way of job recruitment. But, really what kind of company, thats doing so well in an area and its soo "active" why would they need more employess? Do they have a high turnover rate? if so, In the event i come to Milwaukee, work for BS and don't like it...what else can i do? And about the rupture classes. From the museum, they can see where the ruptures are happening if they happen hence the "Rupture Radar" C Class rating. Also I truly believe that they are successfully building a new civilization based on tv shows from our american past. I also noticed during the RPG style explaination of how to travel, the song they are playing is a loop that can be foound in Apple's garage band (wish i knew the name of the tune) Far removed from that is the general idea that something is definently up, and jagoda is the key. The only non-robotic peson seen eating with a museum named after him or his family which is also a Calss C "rupture radar" facility? The only one in the whole video? Nah, i smell a hige set up. Anime is involved Go.D.S.E.E.D.s and the likes...basketballs of power. And did anyone ever think to mention why the hell TN snatched the ball from the Jock (who plays other characters, including the "Tone Deaf" Cello player in what is supposed to be the "Milwaukee seasonal pops orchestra")One cello=orchestra? And the "Broadway Big Shots" Present And Now...A Word From our Sponsors back in 06(they are all wearing red and the one in the middle is holding a Tide Box. Now i've worked for Proctor and Gamble, the makers of Tide, and i've never seen that particular box anywhere, so metaphorically (sp) it's the Red Tide and they're all marching forward...? Summarilly...This is just Part 1 of my take on the video...please, you all, ARG in peace

PS The reason the Alpha Beta Gamma (check the credits)(which is a phraternity of Community College "young professionals...Google it)girls is becuase NO ONE CAN ROLLERBLADE they don't know how... and why is TN trying to seduce teens with old school soul funk/ No T.I., or Lil Wayne?

And just in case you guys didnt get hip during the video Dark Dollars belong to BlackStar. That's why he says "Their Money help rebuild" and anyone else tried saying something american to a foreigner...almost like u have to annunciate like HAM burger like they wouldnt understand otherwise...but really...who knows...

 		I don't think Jagoda has much of a significance in this game. Someone contacted him via Facebook, and he pretty much deferred to the "producers" of the video. Maybe he's playing it coy, but I somehow doubt it.

Also, I found his stand-up on youtube. It's what I imagine would be performed in the Milwaukee of the TIMM world. Razz

 		Hey all! My finals are all finished, so now I have time to be on uF. Yay.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure if this has been mentioned yet, and sorry if it has - reading 52 whole pages of posts and stuff is quite hard, LOL.

In the video there is a beeping noise, while there is text that says something like "INVITES PARENTS BACK". What is that? Is it something to do with mind control or something?

It reminded me of binaural beats but was not prolonged enough and I didn't hear a difference in L/R tone. I also considered that they may play a frequency beyond what the adult ear can hear in that segment but that teens could easily pick up. Forced a teen in the house to listen and he got nothing.

 		There is definitely a lot of stock photography in TIMM video. So it could be that instead of simply mentioning Black Star (who presumably gave them the photos) in the credits, they decided to make it into an in-game entity. But why would they need a viral promotion like that? After all, http://blackstar.com/contact/index.html says they have been around for 40 years.

Wow, guys. Great job! I hadn't considered either point!

"Prey" not "pray". Makes more sense to me. I think is going in a action direction not a philosophical direction.

And wow; What if the video is made for aliens looking to relocate?? Or re-relocate?? None of have identified out selves as human, I don't think. Though, when I spoke to Mike he did talk about non human sex as a joke. But there is a lot of evidence point to non-human factor (uh lion fridge laser beast?). Really fits with why the narrator is talking about normal life there like, well... its an alien why of life. HamBURGer! lol

Also about the fennel/family tree, the pictures the kids drew looked to me like they have two distinguishable part: the biggest part, the bulb, and a second smaller piece that looks slug sized. The second piece looks like its being hugged by the bulb.



Not too much of this really makes a lot of sense right now. I think we need another clue and then need to step back, look at the whole picture and then things'll come together.

At the end of the movie, one of the animations looks like Terry tears his heart out in front of a boy and then shoots/sends it into the sky... And is that the Jackson Five at the very end?? Lol.

And on-topic... regarding prey vs. pray: grammatically, one would prey on something, and pray to something. Terry says "to whom this new God would pray", not "on whom". Though the point he's making is the same either way- "Frack, we didn't think this thing through!"

i would think that if the Blackstar photography company in New York is involved with TIMM, then that involvement is likely very insignificant. the creators of TIMM may have simply "borrowed" the logo and name. more likely i see a scenario where a son or daughter of one of the main people at Blackstar photography became interested in film or the like due to parental work interests while growing up. this is a project put together by young people in my opinion, not aging/ established photographers. it could be that the young person or persons work(ed) for Blackstar or may have just asked permission to borrow the name and logo from the company in exchange for some free publicity.

personally i wouldn't read too much into the seemingly legit Blackstar photography operation in New York. looks like possibly the origin of the name and logo, but not much else of substance imho.

It's not "prey to" it is only prey. Listen to the video (the sentence starts at about 8:18 ) where he says exactly this: We never asked to whom this new God would prey. I think the ambiguity of the sentence was definitely done on purpose and makes me wonder if perhaps they have any other sentences with words that can be interpreted in more than one way.

 		Yeah, that's true. I really think that the NY company and the ARG are just a coincidence. With so many companies in existence it's hard not to make a name that sounds imposing and isn't already a name.
I mean, look on Google. There are way too many Black Stars out there and I really don't think there's any connection to any of them.
