And on-topic... regarding prey vs. pray: grammatically, one would prey on something, and pray to something. Terry says "to whom this new God would pray", not "on whom".

Yes!

Other than that, I think we are thinking too hard about this.

About Blackstar, I noticed that the pbwiki refers to it as 'Blackstar Global Corporation' and so does the Linkedln (which might not have to do with anything at all), but where did we learn that it's global? I went through the ThisIsMyMilwaukee.com video transcript and I watched the credits, but I didn't see anything.

A possibility on political state of Milwaukee. We've seen black stars and red stars. Black and red are the symbols of anarcho-communism or anarcho-socialism. The black referring to anarchism, and the red referring to socialist or communist models. A common motif is to combine these two colors into a star.

We can pretty much rule out a communist model unless dark dollars represent a sort of voucher system(as we know Joey has his apartment taken care of, no mention of food which is odd).

Do we know of any actual governing body? Does the MTC act as a anarcho-syndicate? Does Black Star dictate the lives or the people or let them do whatever they please.

Anarchy is a feasible situation in a post-apocalyptic scenario. So think this may have some merit. But in the end we discuss what we know, and I am an anarchist. So who knows.

I did ask pages ago if someone would ask Joey on the state of Washington DC. If DC is gone, then that may very well mean that these "sectors" are an attempt to bring social order to chaos.

I don't really see how "prey to" makes any sense gramatically.

It's not "prey to" it is only prey. Listen to the video (the sentence starts at about 8:18 ) where he says exactly this: We never asked to whom this new God would prey. I think the ambiguity of the sentence was definitely done on purpose and makes me wonder if perhaps they have any other sentences with words that can be interpreted in more than one way.

"To whom this god would prey" doesn't make any sense. You don't prey to something/somebody, you pray to them. You don't pray on something either, unless it's whatever you're on top of at the moment.

Pardon me, but what exactly are you talking about? Why does this matter?

"We never asked to whom this new God would prey." makes no grammatical sense either.
If it was meant to be interpreted as "prey", the sentence would read: "We never asked on whom this new God would prey."

It's relevant because maybe we're putting too much focus on the semantics rather than the context?

P.S. Long time lurker, first time poster, yadda yadda...

And not just this Smile

The PMs have to be laughing at how intensely this video is being scrutinized. Surely not what they expected. But kudos to them for creating something that has generated this much enthusiasm, and attracted this many new players to the genre. It's one of the most entertaining launches I've seen, so I can't fault some newcomers for getting a little overzealous.

The videos have to be scrutinized intensely! They've given us nothing else to look at until Monday! Laughing

Does anyone else feel like Monday is just never going to come? I can't believe it's still only Saturday here.

that of course means you only have to wait until Tuesday then. Coffee

seriously, though. what makes us believe that anything will happen on Monday? haven't promised updates and "information packets" been pushed back numerous times already?

although i agree that the PMs are going to have to do something relatively soon or peeps are going to begin to lose interest...

Very true...
I seriously hope the PMs don't postpone the release of more info, I honestly cannot wait. Gahhh. Kudos to them for making it very interesting so far, though.
