Wow. Got through that one finally (Thanks magicrock and Adventure). If you need a hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Use same table as for Q47, but different values. The string of numbers have to be split up just right and all digits are used.

 		Hi everybody. I've been out for a while. I've really got some catching up to do.

I noticed on the front page of WIQ that as of last week, 11/25, the rules have changed and someone received the first WIQ award. Does anybody know about this? I see that the IP requirements for showing the first and last names has changed.

Yeah the rules have changed a bit. No one has received the award yet. Whoever has the most IPs at the end of the year gets it. Good to have you back in the game.

stuck again on q39 ("empire"), the one with 5 textfields, 5 arrows which produces random words or characters and with the word "civic" on the bottom...

please need help on that one! thnx.

OK.
I think I deciphered most of the missing text at the bottom of the puzzle. I KNOW what I need to find to submit. My problem is the instructions for locating it. AUZ posted about using a different proxy, but I am just not getting it.

Anyone want to pm me with a better hint?

Rules Change
The Main Test has been split into two parts. The first part is from Question 1 to Question 60. This part was designed so almost anyone taking the test can finish it. Minimal cultural knowledge is required for Part I.
If at the end of Part I the player has at least 52 IPs his first name will be shown in the Top.
If at the end of Part I the player has at least 57 IPs his full name will be shown in the Top.
If at the end of Part I the player has at least 58.4 IPs he will be included, as an apprentice, in the World of IQ Society. (required for the Part II of the Test - other means to become a member of WIQS may also become available).

PART II of the Test - Questions 61 - 100.
This part is designed so less than 1% on the players finish the test. Unlike the first part, extensive cultural knowledge is required. Any player who finishes PART II of the Test becomes a full member of the World of IQ Society.

First World of IQ Award Revealed - "BEST PLAYER OF 2008 AWARD"
The player who at the end of 2008 (December 31) has the most IPs wins the Best Player of 2008 Award. (more info soon)


It appears that the supplement of an obtuse WIQ lurker is reward. I'm not so sure that I'll be able to make it into the WIQ Apprentice society by Q60. I hope that there are some other methods to gain entry to such an elite group without having to create another account.

Yeah. Sounds like a lot of hard work ahead.
I don't think I'll be going past 60.
My cultural knowledge stinks.

I am at the very same place. I don't quite understand the instructions. Is the word in parentheses important, because I can't get it?
