The first one is just a fan re-post of a portion of the longer official video. Your last two are the real videos.

2 videos.
3 phone numbers.
1 website.

This better lead somewhere soon or it's going to be a huge waste of momentum.

don't forget one dead drop in the NYPL. (still wondering if that really happened or was a plant for our amusement. it all fell together rather nicely after all.)

but yeah. i'm in total agreement and voiced this over the weekend. the PMs have a great start here but seem to be dropping the ball on us. i keep thinking there is something we're missing that they are waiting for us to find.

it's not like they weren't prepared. why post the vid on Youtube if you weren't ready to rock-n-roll?

funny. the entire premise of this type of venture is based upon the fast-paced modern stage that is reality. you'd think the creators would be keenly aware of the fleeting attention span of their intended audience...

Agreed. Though the holidays are a decent excuse for slow goings... My inbox is still empty. And if we've missed something vital to the story lin, th PMs need to steer us back in the right direction.

right on. but you know they are monitoring these boards. that much is a given. the holiday was a valid excuse and all, but then why post the video when they did?

i dunno. starting to get the feeling that this may be nothing more than a film school project. some friends with different majors/ interests throwing together a web-page and a coupla pro-shot vids.

"hey, let's just see where this goes"...

I don't think so. If that were the case they wouldn't have gone through the trouble to get 3 different Milwaukee area code phone numbers and put voicemail on the end of all of them pertaining to the movies.

They also wouldn't have done the dead drop in the NYPL.

I don't think they were expecting the NYPL drop to be found so soon.

It's also quite possible that we're all overlooking something they thought would have been obvious and they are trying to figure out a way to clue without giving the whole thing away.

The production value on everything so far has been top notch, so creating a clue they weren't expecting to have to give might take some time.

Vermouth

the whole bar scene really stands out to me somehow. [...] secondly, the margarita clip. vermouth in place of tequila in a margarita? yuck! what human would drink that? and what about the glasses? those are not glasses one would drink a margarita from. i wonder if the bartender is really adding salt to the drink? that is not how a margarita is made either. the rim of the margarita glass is made wet and dipped in coarse salt to create a coating around the rim. i've never seen table salt added directy to the drink itself. again, strange. "he doesn't know, does he?"

Also notice the strange, whirring hum that starts in the soundtrack around that point leading up to the M-rotor instruction frame -- something to do with the sound of an M-rotor perhaps? Same sound in the second video as Mr. Glasses approaches Mr. Basketball...

Which "he" (her date or the bartender?), and what doesn't he know? How to fix a Margarita? That an M-rotor has (perhaps) suddenly become audible?

You may be on to something here. Suppose that there are also robots living in Milwaukee now. Terry did say "and if you know where to look, have sex with something other than humans *wink*" Perhaps he's referring to robots. "He doesn't know, does he?" Meaning he doesn't know that she's a robot, but then there is the audible hum (possibly the sound of the m-rotor) he gets discouraged that she isn't real and they leave the bar separate.

Just killing time until the packets get sent out, but I was thinking about this and just re-watched the video. I noticed a couple things...

The couple both enters the bar from the left side of the screen. When they exit, the girl goes left, but the guy goes right.

I'm not sure if it's just the lighting, but it seems like there is something about the lemons and limes in the scene. There are limes in the drinks, but the shot at the end is of a lemon being stepped on. I'm not sure what that means exactly.

There's a shot of multiple limes in the bottom of a glass (indicating they had more than a "second margarita"), and there are fingers reaching into the glass. The limes seem to be stuck to the bottom of the glass, and that's somehow significant.

After "he doesn't know, does he?", the guy has this blank stare on his face. Then they leave, and he goes the other way.

This could perhaps be a stretch, but maybe all the plant life is affected in Milwaukee. We know that the "Family Trees" (fennel bulbs) have some kind of psionic power. Perhaps there's something in the ground that is poisoning or giving other plant life mind-control powers. The guy kind of looks brainwashed at the end of the scene.

Perhaps this food-brain connection also explains why people don't remember the past very well. There might also be a connection with the "vegetarian option" and why they play the weird noise at that moment.

Anyway, to summarize:
* vegetation -> affects brain chemistry
* weird sound -> the sound of psionic powers

And here I was worried that I would be way behind everyone else because of classes.

I think there is definitely something to plant life as well. Remember in the video, too, that Terry mentions how "nature withered" after bringing in Black Star / Go.D.S.E.E.D.

I really think people are looking way too closely at this point. I see lots of talk about semantics on pray & prey, people talking about limes and lemons, how many Bs there are in the "Bonus" scene, etc.

There has been little to no discussion of the meaning of the words in the "Jobs" portion. I would ask Mike Russo about the Bonuses they talk about in the video, or hammers. I think that portion of the video holds more significance than we are giving it credit for. and not just because the LCD that says bonus on it was kind of messed up.

Like why would glasses guy be running like a doofus when they say power?

Who is the weird lady with the hat on when terry is taking off his rollerblades?

What is the name of the "Bar" the "Young Professionals" go into?

With all of the "family trees" underground it's no surprise that Milwaukee's chief export is flax seed.

What is with the guy and his metal arm in the "current and former residents" section?

Sigmund Freud said it best. Very Happy

Just rang, the MTC line went straight to voicemail and Mike's rang but no pickup. I'm at work so I can't keep trying til I get an answer (which is how I got to speak to someone the first time) - but someone else should keep going!

eta: also, no fax so far! Unless one of my colleagues threw it away before I could see it. But that's not too likely.
