Do you think they're just paying some bloke to stand there?! Cos otherwise he must have been there ages?! Or they just watching for when one of us says we will go?

TBH though... And PMs you're probably still reading this.

This game isn't tending to be much fun atm. I mean... Lots of Co'ordinates, one interactive char' who disappears after giving us the first, (what seemed to be) fundamental clue. - A gamejack website, lots of O/T posters in the OOG Forum... But a heck of a lot of waiting around and unanswered emails.

Thank you, Leyton. I completely agree. Most of the puzzles or clues that they seem to be giving us are eiher way too complicated or red herrings (sometimes both, making it a colossal waste of time for those who travel). PMs, honestly, I'm glad you posted to set the record straight in this soup of awkward, but your game really isn't doing anything. I bet a lot of the controversy coms from the fact that us players don't really seem to have anything to do with anything going on, all we can do is get cryptic answers from the Benefactors and watch helplessly.

Still, playing the game (my M.O. on this board seems to be to complain constantly while actually enjoying the playing)

lets see what we get, otherwise this is starting to remind me of good old aladygma.

In response to both Shaggy and Kirby (Meaning (^__^) lol) I've a feeling this may well be, although hard to believe (without offence to the PMs) - A highly thought out "Choose the path" ARGs. - I think if maybe people hadn't snitched on Andy's conversing w/ a recruit *yours truly* his "HalfLife3" clue may have led us somewhere - Although seemingly now the Ben's are completely ignoring it...

This is, of course, pure spec' - But it was a thought which has just recently (very recently) come to me.

I'd have said waiting to see... But according to the Ben's http://projectforanewbritishcentury.moonfruit.com (The site which told me to go see the guy) - Is a gamejack site; anyhow.

- I've reverted to watching this one, for a bit. May play again once it picks up.

With all the game-jacking, thread-jacking, OT conversation, trollery, etc. this has just become confusing. Who knows what is IG, OOG, not-related-to-the-game, or real. And using these forums to discuss the game with the PM's is not the way I would hope to participate.

PM's, please stop using these forums. There has to be a better way. If someone is really using these forums to gamejack, please stop. I've addressed the admins. This is getting out of hand.

100% agreed! Although you know me, have to play Devil's advocate Razz and in defence of the PM's they only used this thread "officially" once to inform us "OOG" that one site was a gamejack.

Although, in reference to that... How do we even know, as you said, with all the crap going on; whether that's even the real PMs or not? - So ignore my defence lmfao

100% agreed!

Point taken.

Let's just assume that the PMs will, in the future, let us know about OOG gamejacks in a more creative way.

Leyton, if his is a "Choose You Own Adventure" style thing, I'd have figured that the direction we choose would have a planned consequence. As it stands, Andy getting axed effectively kills that whole plot thread, meaning we're effectively left nowhere. Nowhere but "It is not yet time" being the answer to a puzzle that took us two weeks to brute-force due to lack of clues.

I just got the following email:

Quote:
I want to join the G A Project!

Uh... If this is OOG, more power to ya, but you're really talking to the wrong person.

If this is IG... why me?

It wasn't just you. Someone named Happycow something or other sent it to me this morning.

edit: When the Benefactors sent the first string of emails, they didn't bother hiding the list of email addresses they sent it to. Happycow was on that list so he/she probably went through there picking out people to email today.

I got it, too.

I thought you get e-mails from the Benefactors after you e-mailed them, which means they've already done so... thus, joined the project.

I'm confused by all of this now! Screwy

Just in case "Project for a New British Century" isn't a gamejack. Here's a copy of the last image of the main page. and here is the link to it:

It looks like there are words blurred out in the bottom right corner.
But it is an odd picture. What's on the website? it never comes up for me, it just keeps saying that the page no longer exists.

Yep, they already deleted it. Glad I saved it. Just in case.

what are the chances of that

That Project for a New British Century first came online with this image HOURS before the official clarification that "IEN" was an acronym for "Intelligent Eye Network" is all the more amazing still. Confused

So The Unity that posted in the forum wasn't the real unity? It was another threadjacker person?
