Oops. Thought you meant the binary.

The first is a simple substitution cipher. Try this tool

no, serious, what should I take... oO

Polar bear girl must take the polar bear! If only for the allusion to the previous game! XD

Noting what it said in one of the emails (what you change will remain changed), I guess whoever gets into the houses next should take the items left behind, or hunt for useful goodies elsewhere.

Also, the game seems like a very slow version of a text-adventure game. I have love for this already! That said, nothing particularly perplexing so far...wonder what lies in the village itself?

Damn it

my message:
Quote:
"YAY!" I remember a wise man's words: "Anyone who does anything with Polar Bears is always a winner!"
I take the statue of the Polar Bear and look at it from every angle.

answer:
Quote:
You pick up the polar bear and hold it in your hands. Though you don't know what use it is, you remember your friend's wise words, and you put the statuette in your pocket. All at once, you feel a sense of power within you, but you can't tell what that means.
Suddenly, a spirit appears in the middle of the room! It is dark and enormous, unlike anything you've ever seen in your life. This is a terrifying spirit.
His voice booms, "That polar bear belonged to me once, and the pastor who lived here bound it to the dresser with magic. Now that you have removed the spell, what is to stop me from taking back what is rightfully mine?"
Trembling, you reach into your pocket, but the polar bear won't come out. It's as if it clings to your clothes in terror.
"So," the ghost says, "you want to fight me?" His laugh echoes through the small house and across all of Transition Village. "Fine!"
He zooms in closer. You stand your ground, shaking all over.
After a pause during which he stares you down with bright, orange eyes, the spirit snarls, "I am a law-abiding citizen of Transition Village, unlike some of the other ghosts you may encounter. The Governor's laws require that I obtain a letter of permission before I enter battle with another traveler. I will go to the mansion beyond the graveyard now, and I will get his permission. He doesn't know you from anyone else." The ghost chuckles. "I will get my wish. Your only hope now is to use a turn to get his attention on those interactive machines he calls computers. You'd have to show him what a noble citizen you are." He breaks into another booming laugh that shakes the walls of the cottage. "I doubt that will happen!"
As the ghost begins to vanish, he adds, "My only hope is that I can return with my permission before one of the rogue ghosts gets you first!"
Then he is gone. You are alone with your polar bear.
What do you choose to do next?

lots of text..
so, my dear fellowers, what should I do now o.o..

Uh I dunno... Email the Gov?

Edit: Okay my turn lol.

Quote:
You open the wooden dresser, and the smell of old hay comes at you. On top of the dresser is a figurine of a black horse. As you take a closer look, you see that it is not a figurine; it is a tiny ghost. It neighs at you from its place on the dresser, and then it begins to speak.

"I am the spirit of the farmer's best horse. There is great danger in this village. I would like to help you, but I must know that I can trust you. Only The Governor can decide whether you are worthy. He can see your actions on his machine he calls a computer. Show him in a public way that you are strong and good and kind to horses. Give him a sign if you want to. However, this will be your only turn for today."

The horse disappears.

You open the drawer and see many bits of straw lying there. Also inside the old dresser, you find two items: life bead and a whip. If you choose to not use your turn contacting The Governor, you may take one item.
What do you choose to do?

Okay so I have to show the Governor that I am strong, good and kind to horses [In a PUBLIC way...] He says the Gov can see me; but what do I do? Do I like type in the email "Performs physical actions to show I am good to horses"? lol

I'd suggest not taking the whip, what's a life bead?

Call Ghostbusters? Seems your response was similar to Leytons in regard to the Mayor. What could you do to show you are a noble citizen to the mayor?

No way to do that @ all. TBH I don't even have the Gov's email address.

I merely sent back:
Quote:
I attempt to contact the Governor to show him I am strong, good and kind to horses

Hell it was a turn and turn's are supposed to be emailed back to that address... Embarassed

Yeah, but you didn't actually show it. Maybe if your turn had been to go set a barn of fire, then rescue the horses inside, then send the farmer to the Mayor's house to tell him of your brave rescue then you would have had a shot. As it is, that horse ghost is sooo going to sell you out. Wink
