Super-quick recap:
  • Arrived at St Pancras super-early. Suddenly realised I had no idea who or what "Mr Betjeman" was, so I quickly looked it up on my iPhone, and found this.
  • Found the statue on the upper floor of the station. Proceeded to WH Smith to grab an overpriced sandwich.
  • 1:55 came around, I decided to move from waiting for sowasred (sorry man) and get to the statue
  • 2:01, contact arrives at the statue (along with a shady guy with a camera, more on that later). I get the clue envelope.
  • I get immediately a little stuck on the first clue, then suddenly notice poems from Betjeman on the floor. The symbols each corresponded to a poem, with a word and letter number. I get as much as is on the photo when I figured out the message, and left to find "FCC"
  • Arrived at the other end of the station, at the First Capital Connect platforms. Waited by the payphone, the contact came along again and gave me a handwritten note: "Go to the statue of St Paul at the cathedral. You can leave from the platforms you are next to."
  • I didn't leave from there, I took the tube from King's Cross Razz arrived at St Paul's... disaster! The gardens are closed for scaffolding work on the cathedral!
  • I walked around the cathedral and found another entrance. Phew! Got to the statue and plaque, and figured out the next message.
  • Ended up taking the longest and most stupid route to the Tate Modern... considering it's not far from St Paul's by foot. Eventually got there, crossed the Millennium Bridge, found the bench, and panicked. No contact, no package, nothing!
  • Got on AIM on my phone with thebruce, checking that the site hadn't updated with a big fail notice. At that point, the contact appeared from nowhere and handed me the package! Success!
  • The photographer that I'd noticed at St Pancras then came up to me, told me he'd been following me around, and was taking pics for publicity purposes, yadda yadda.

Also, none of the notes have any stickers of any sort on them.

So are we any clsoer to a user name at all? I've tried using various names from the evidence packages, but nothing seems to take at all. Any clues, gang?
