Hi, hope you don't mind a n00b stumbling on in and spruiking his site, but I think if you're following the game you'll like this. I just launched a wiki to keep track of the JDATE ARG and all the clues as people pick them up, and I've been tapping away at my laptop on and off today trying to fill it up with some content. A few people have contributed a couple of sentences, and someone on Cracked.com (the author's website, which is where I got the link to here) provided the transcript for one of the old announcements that had since gone offline, but so far it's mostly been me editing this.

Any takers? Some of you seem to be pretty enthusiastic about JDATE... The address for the wiki is http://www.jdatewiki.com (the domain is new so it might not work yet everywhere, try this longer link in the meantime), and seriously, if you want to write about anything to do with JDATE, anything at all, not just the ARG, go right ahead. This thing could be awesome.

I've been following the thread as well as reading the book, but tonight as I hit refresh the thread suddenly was not available to me unless I registered. Which I did. But I don't see the thread anywhere in the JDaTE forum. Did the shadow people get to it or what? lol

Wow this sounds really good. Almost like this is going to become as big as Twilight or something but gorier and satan shitting into your head? Where can I read it? Does any site have like the first chapter or anything? I need to read this.
I work at Barnes and Noble so I'll let you guys know if it's gonna get big soon.

I read the whole book and have been following the arg in the other thread on Cracked. I'm really kind of surprised more people here at UF aren't following along with this. Maybe they are and just aren't posting here in this thread. Anyway, I really enjoyed the book. Hope I can get the second one when it's out. But I am curious how they are going to make a movie out of some of that stuff! I've got to go check out that link.

I don't think much of the book will be ruined at the beginning of the thread but there may be some things in the middle of the thread if I remember right. The thread is 30 something pages long now. The arg is more follow along with the story than it is solving puzzles and stuff.
