[SPOONRIVER][PUZZLE] Spoon River Metblog hidden puzzle
Solve it before next Tuesday's reveal!

Here's the story:

I've been using ARG-inspired structures to write adaptations of classic works of literature, under the banner of The Loose-Fish Project. The current story has been running since May, and it concludes next week. It's an adaptation of the 1915 poetry serial "Spoon River Anthology," told in the format of a Metroblogging-branded group city blog:

http://spoonriver.metblogs.com

There are 244 individual blog posts that tell the story of this fictional town. But hidden in these posts is a code, a secret structure that leads to a special story extra.

Nobody has cracked this code yet. And the secret content is scheduled to be revealed on the main site next Tuesday. But it would be so much cooler if somebody found it before then.

I did reveal the code in a presentation I gave last month, and was promptly labeled insane. But I'm pretty sure none of those folks are Unfiction material Smile

Here's where to start:

About the Spoon River Metblog: http://www.loose-fish.com/waifpole/current-story-the-spoon-river-metblog/
Updated list of entries: http://www.loose-fish.com/waifpole/the-spoon-river-metblog/

If necessary, I'll give hints out over Twitter: @jaybushman.

I got the first part of the code by looking at
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first letter in each line in I, Metadata
.
This gives
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The number of syllables modulo 26.

But since there are 244 poems to go through and I'm at work, that's where I stopped.

Cool idea though...

Since this is where folks get stuck...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Count the syllables in each line. There's a repeating pattern. If it were a haiku, the pattern would be 575. But each entry is different.
