[SPEC/QUESTION] Possible Connection Between Apiary and Urban

So, I was curious as to what "Urban Hunt" is. I got in on ILB at an opportune moment, namely, as I'm seeing more and more concensus, at the beginning of the game. Urban Hunt is deeply entrenched. The Beast was likewise when I began following it, so I really have no live-action ARG experience only the read the puzzle, read the clue, read the solution type of experience.

Back on topic: The Urban Hunt ARG

I did notice something on the Urban Hunt WIKI...
This Entry Intrigued Me...

The book's date has been pushed back to (dum dum Dah!) August 24th.

Hmmmm. One ARG tipping its hat to another, or a bonified connection?

BTW, hit me with the fish if this is trout.

i don't think it's an in-game connection, but i do think you were more right about the 'hat tipping'. this is my first arg, but it just seems to be thier way of saying 'hello!' to us. there's nothing else that indicates a connection.
any vets care to back me up? is it common for seperate games to acknowledge each other in some way?

/me jumps over from the Urban Hunt forums..

I'm not a vet by any means (UH is my first ARG), but anyway. Over at UH we had noted the August 24th thing, but we think it's just a coincidence - I doubt the ARGs are in any way connected.

We're just hoping the site doesn't go down under the weight of all the beekeepers tomorrow Very Happy - the Dead Poems release is an important date for us Hunters!
