[INFO] The Definitive, Current Coordinates List

To hopefully stem the tide of people asking where it is, http://melangerie.com/bees/ is the most current list.
[EDIT 23 August: Changed link to the definitive, current list, in order to stay beloved.]

(nothing against our beloved vpisteve, but i feel a better link is needed -- catherwood)

The thread HERE is where the list is being maintained, with an updated spreadsheet of people claiming a location to attend.

Another way to find the most recent file is to go to the Attachment List HERE and choose the Apiary Puzzles forum, then sort on Post Time descending. The top "phil_nnn.xls" file is the most current spreadsheet.

Additionally, this HTML list HERE is the last snapshot of the Axon Coordinates in text form.

Heads up:

Yikes, I just saw this one:

If this coord is right and this acme is be believed:

http://mapper.acme.com/?lat=39.911569&long=-89.215736&scale=10

I doubt a phone booth is in that guy's harvest ...

And I don't recommend anyone geocaching into someone's corn field Smile

Turns out Phil has this coord wrong ... wishi-san has it right:

07:27 PDT - -086.215736,39.911569 | Indianapolis, Indiana, United States

Good catch, GunsmithCat.

Also, I just compared phil with ilovebees to doublecheck and all the others are good except for these which were known changes but need to be updated:

13:17 PDT -121.743038,38.543151 | Davis, California, United States
17:55 PDT -122.315278,47.616389 | Seattle, Washington, United States

Thanks, GunsmithCat... I have updated the Phil. I think I must have copied the negative coordinate from another point. Thanks.

Avena - I think I got the davis one too, but I'll double check and edit if neccessary.

OK. I've got all three changed on my Phil (including updated map and acme for those points too, although I'm doubting acme's accuracy).

EDIT- THIS IS A COPIED POST. I AM PUTTING IT HERE SO ALL SEE THE LAST RESULTS!

Ok, well here's my last Phil until Axon Day... I'll be watching tomorrow as the axons go hot, and I'll be hitting the Bensenville location with buzzkill and any lurkers in the ChiSubs... But that's not until 4:56pm here (CDT), so we'll see whats-a-happenin until then... Let's keep signing up, since Aveena has graciously (Worshippy) volunteered to maintain Phil as long as she can today... SO NO MORE PM'S TO ME ABOUT AXON DAY unless you don't mind me NOT signing you up... (I'm not trying to be mean, but I just want to make certain y'all know WHY you're not on the "official" list come tomorrow morning!) So I'll see you all on the flipside of this thing! Until then...

IMPORTANT!!!! Address to GPS cood site located

I have located a web page which generates the **EXACT** GPS coods from the phone location addresses. I've checked it on the 3 locations where we found the phones. All of these phones were listed on the http://payphone-directory.org pages.

We were unable to locate a phone in the 4th GPS site given. Entering in phone addresses along the street displayed in MapQuest I was able to find an exact match. This phone is located about 1 mile away from where other sites say the GPS coods should be.

The GPS cood site is:
http://www.geocode.com/modules.php?name=TestDrive_Eagle

Good luck to everyone who had problems. This should solve all of the location problems.

Also, for those people in Boulder... 16:35 PDT should be located at the Quizno's in the Table Mesa Shopping Center.
