Ordered my key and followed the reset instructions on the website.........

Don't think it's done it properly! It sounds as if ALL BB's are lose but won't open. Any ideas?

The placentas are the two engravings that are not on the movable rings.
There are three bb's inside the Isis that are very important to solving the puzzle.

I think you should be fine, I don't even think it is possible to mess it up at the point you're at. It should still work normally.

P.S.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To get your Isis in that position you must have had the puzzle unlocked. So whatever you did to get it like that, just do it again!

isis puzzle

I did like twenty times, but its definetly not unlocked plus i dont even know what step im at. this guy told me to do a shotcut, put the ball in your hand plunger down then lift your hand up fast and ark it over and hit it on like book, and then it should unlock. well it worked but i could only twist it 180 degrees and you cold tell that the ball was still locked. what do i do now?

Do it again.

What I meant was that when you were able to unscrew the puzzle you had it unlocked, but then it relocked while you were unscrewing it. Try the method you used before, called the "bucket method" (based on the idea that a bucket of water won't spill when swung around your head)

Congrats on opening your Isis.

They stopped making the keys and instead there is a code engraved on the inside of the Isis. If you have already registered your Isis, then you should go to the website and the "password" is the code on the inside. Is that what you are talking about?

 Almost open but...
Stuck with placentas at opposite side

Hello,
I reach clue ten and the ISIS unlocked so I could turn the upper part to unscrew it. But when the placentas were at opposite side, the thing seems to lock again : Placentas stay at 180°, the Isis is slighty unscewed (1mm) but no further move possible...
I hear the balls again...
Can someone advise me to go further? do I need to redo from clue 5 (ball 3 in the maze) ?

isis

Corto, have you tried unscrewing the other way? You have to unscrew one way then the other. Hope that helps.

phyzix, look in the isis faq's at the top of the timewasters forum page. All the help you will ever need is in there

It depends. Does the plunger still go down only halfway? If so, then the 3rd bb is already in place. Once you can unscrew it again, go the same way you already did. You DO NOT have to unscrew it both ways.
