Hey guise. I'm new, and want to get in on this action. So, I read up, and am pretty fluent in TIMM canon. I called the tourism board and left a message.
Quote:
Hey Mike, this is Karen's mom! Ah, just kidding. This is Jim, uh, haven't talked in a while, so, er, email me, my email is [yaddayadda]. Don't call me on this phone, this is my work, the boss might get pissed. So, yeah. Seeya.

Oooh, this is gonna be fun. I'm glad I finally got in on one of these early.

Its true, there is, however it was ruled as OOG about 70 pages ago. To avoid this sort of thing use the search button to check if a topic has been discussed.

Although I laughed when the real owner responded to the message about rebreathers and being a dive master. Laughing

awesome. let us know when you post it Very Happy

Also, and I'm usually on top of this, so I'm gonna say it's not been posted...feel free to murder me if it has...

Someone mentioned that Leroux means "the red". Red's popped up a lot so far. In the chinese character at the end of the 1st movie, Lipps "Le Roux" (french for red), Mars Madison (Mars is the red planet), Mike Russo (russo is derived from the Italian "rosso" for red), Larose Burton (also french, but for pink instead).
I wonder if it's just a naming scheme, or if there's something to it...
bah, who knows? Smile

WE GOT HIM AGAIN!

My friend is here.

EDIT: Chuck Jagoda is a wealthy landowner who has a fair amount of influence. Godseed fragments can eat your or turn you into an unhuman abomination. They can also kill you.

Hmm first time I posted this it disappeared...

Anyway, I think you're right and the colors are meaningful. In my first post I pointed out the repetition of red and blue. I suspect that red is associated with Blackstar operatives and blue is associated with the rebels but I'm just guess at the moment.

Can you upload the call so we can all listen to it? TIMM has been stagnating for a few days and I'm antsy for any new information lol.

He said they are hiring someone to spread the word, sounded like a PR guy. Maybe that has some value.

I've been using You'veGotSignal (http://www.yougetsignal.com/) to run some checks on domains related to TIMM.

I got some interesting hits on TIMM.com with the reverse server lookup (http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/) - it allows you to see what websites are hosted on the same server as a domain. Apparently Syndyne is on the same server. There are 704 domains - so rather than listing all the sites on the server here, I think going to the site and punching in thisismymilwaukee.com will get you the results. Perhaps there are also in IG websites that we have not found yet? Or some clues?

I dunno.

Maybe nothing significant, but why would he mention her heritage/appearance? I've earlier noted possible correlations in the 1st video involving Black-invented genres of music (jazz, hip hop, funk, soul), and the subject of ethnicity in Milwaukee has come up before:

Got off the phone with Mike. I told him I some some Oriental friends interesting in moving to Milwaukee, and asked if there was anything they could specifically do for Milwaukee, such as working with the restaurant industry. He said that Milwaukee enjoys its diversity (people of all shapes and sizes!), and has latinos, people formerly known as African-American, who now colloquially as blacks, and that Milwaukee has people of all breeds.

They seem to be using a lot of "formely known as" talk in the phone calls. Mike also mentioned his childhood hometown, which was formely known as New York.

It's interesting that he would specifically say "formely known as African-American." Could it be a former term because "American" or "America" isn't part of the current lexicon (i.e. America doesn't exist anymore, or at least isn't called America)?

I'm half asleep so bare with me. I put in thisismymilwaukee.com as you said, got over 800 sites. I went to all the ones that seemed promising including:
sweetcorncapital.com (referencing Hoopeston)
synydyne.com (known)
thisismymilwaukee.com (original)

And anything that references science, art, religion or dogs. Didn't find anything but like I said I'm half asleep. Maybe fresher eyes will have better luck.

Considering the new info we have (that graph 2 is so important and that Mars is from Wichita) I fired off a new message to her via Facebook. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

"Hi Mars,
I saw you had a rough day and I'm sorry to hear that. Being new and in a strange place really puts you out of your element. I'm really considering the move to Milwaukee but I'm so nervous. I mean, you seem to be having a hard time fitting in, what if it's that difficult for me to? Why do you think you're having such a hard time making friends?

Plus, I'd really like to see the Wichita slideshow before I make up my mind but I can't seem to find it anywhere and I don't know anyone from that area who might have seen it. My husbands a chemist so I think he'd fit in well at Blackstar but who knows? Getting info from them is like pulling teeth. Did you see the handbook? It's so confusing. The charts are total gibberish, especially the second one. lol

Anyway, if you feel like chatting don't be shy about ringing me up. I know what it's like to be in your position and I'm happy to lend an ear. Hope tomorrow goes better for you. Sleep well!

Namaste, BB"

Jesus christ. I'm in the middle of my exam period then BAM, this thing lands on me. Been reading through this entire thread in one sitting.

Things like these always get the best of me. I'm from norway personally and I've been calling Mike for the last few hours hoping to get ahold of him and trying to hear what the situation is like over here.
Was gonna mention my current locale and if he did the old: "I'm surprised there's still people there" routine I'd say the water levels have risen quite a bit but because of the mountains there's still areas that are habitable (just to see if there's any plausability to the whole water-drowning-scheme) but haven't gotten a hold of him. Wonder how much this is costing me -_-.

Furthermore, people were linking and trying to analyze the map earlier. I'm not sure why everyone was trying to analyze it as a US only map when it looked a LOT like a world map, only with some of the continents shifted around a bit (which we know is a natural process already, africa IS on the way to colliding with america, only at a very very slow speed, whatever world events have transpired could very well have sped the process up a bit).

Denmark would also seem to be missing, which also makes sence since the entire country is very flat and very easily floodable. What appears to be scandinavia still seems to be on the map, though. Either way I don't think there's too much use in delving about this.

Someone else mentioned the dinosaurs in the pamphlet to have correlation with energy sources, since we did use fossile energy sources before and energy sources is a key issue here, and I think this is a good point. At first when I saw the dinosaurs I was all: "WTF" but it's pretty obvious that the people making this has little to no knowledge of previous human history and that this knowledge is, quite obviously, put together by pieces of information they could find.

Not sure what our next step should be. We're not waiting for anything in particular, although I am inclined to ask, has anyone cracked the code with the numbers in the pamphlets yet? If not I think I'll start looking at that.
