I might be able to send this along to a mathematics professor on campus. The guy is a genius, and if anyone can figure this out, he could. All I need is a green light.

nothing on my end either.

just for the record, the phrase is said in the first video here:
Quote:
I'm Terry Nanny. Milwaukee's been getting a lot of press recently. Not all of it good. Surely you know what I'm referring to. But the story that's not being reported is that of a vibrant city, getting better every day. Families, good jobs, culture, high technology. Still not convinced? Join me for a closer look.

it might help, it might not.

... one thing you'll quickly learn... when there's a puzzle that needs solving, you never, ever, never ever ever never have to ask for a green light to ask someone for insight Smile
you'll get one mother of a green light as robbie just demonstrated Laughing

show the full single string first, since the grid layout with the 0-column is still just a theory at this point...

eta: for the record, if you'd said "when I get round to it", I'd have given you this =)

I've been looking some more at these numbers and it really doesn't look like there's any specific pattern from column to column. On some of them I found multiple plausible solutions to the "missing numbers" and I think it's safe to say that if we were actually meant to find a pattern to find the last number the pattern would be pretty solid and once found, easily identifiable as the correct one.

You know i'm really stumped here. Looking forward until we catch another break, meanwhile I should probably get some sleep -_-. Was hoping I could get at least one call through before I went to bed but I guess they're still sleeping. Lazy gits.

Here's a strange coincidence:

If you take the 5 numbers we have, and break them into times:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1:22
2:45
6:02
6:29
9:58

A "family tree" is in frame in all those positions in the movie.

I first sent him our theory set with the zero column, and then told him we had though maybe it was an ordered set from 1 to 6. I then sent him the original table, with a disclaimer that all we had done in the theoretical stuff might be wrong.

*he's a pretty cool guy, but it's finals week so we might not get anything out of him.

Brix were shat! So let's say we find the last frame in which there's a family tree, that could very well be our last three digits?

well we got them at 1:38, considering one of the earlier frames were of a drawing, there's a whole bunch of drawings of them on the wall in 1:38.

Question being, are we now looking for something specific AT 1:38, or what?

Edit: There's also one located at 2.50, guess we should find all the missing ones and figure which fits best with the code?

Edit edit: I'm sure this has been mentioned a thousand times already and at this point is completely off topic. But after the guy and girl splits from the bar I noticed the way the guy is going is labelled: "one way". Sounds relevant to the whole M-motor and discarding.

'm pretty certain the timings on the video is of significance, but what are the two first numbers for then? Maybe two and zero are incorrect.

The first two numbers would define the order of the appearances...

Code:
10 - 1:22
20 - ?:??
30 - 2:45
40 - 6:02
50 - 6:29
60 - 9:58

If this is true, then we know that we're looking for an appearance between 1:22 and 2:45.

wow, i think im contributing. i watched the video, verified family trees in each of the time codes and assumed 1:38 was the other time code. on a hunch, i added the 20138 (missing numbers) as a directory to thisismymilwaukee.com and got:

http://thisismymilwaukee.com/20138/

This does not give an error page, but only gives the following number:
1230768000

i checked other directories around this number and tried 2:50 as a missing number too but only got 404 missing page errors. I think "1230768000" is our next clue.
