Does anyone want a code for the cards in book 2? I will work out a trade. If so, e-mail me. I also have unused codes for cards 31, 42, 71, and 73.

What's Up With Skeet Shoot???

I just went into the Skeet Shooter game and discovered that the pointing system has changed. What's up with that!?! It's not very fair to those who are trying to improve their scores. Rolling Eyes

Re: "reaserching" and another theroy via me
Irina Spasky, and Lilya Chernova

Sorry Knerdherd, but that file was made in 1992, and if Lilya is 16 now, then she would just have been born. Of course, Irina might have been investigating her parents, who happen to be high-ranking Ekats, during a time when they might have let their guard down while caring for baby Lilya. We do know for a fact, however, that Irina was investigating something to do with the cahills, hence "family business" and the fact that she hid it from the KGB. Idea

Clue Finder Guide
from clue card packs

I have bought several clue card packs and all the Clue Finder Guides were the same, the last pages were the rules. I bought a new pack Saturday and not sure why I checked but guide did not include the rules but 6 new info pages: the competition (teams from book), annotated copy of Grace's obit, and a partial family tree. Has anyone else seen these and what is the best way to get these on here to share if someone wants to see?

Bullseye barbeque sauce was around back in the 1990's I remember it from when I still lived in the States. I don't think it is a secret, but its ingredients may be. Laughing

My Irina and Lilya theory
taking water, but still floating... maybe

Thank you for pointing that out sherlock39. I had seen that, but it hadn't clicked. I still say there might be something there, and i like your idea of "family business". I also think that she might have gone to assassinate Lilya as a baby, although there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that points to this, other than normal "branch rivalry"

FLgata is absolutly right, the scoring has changed. Now, a close hit (what used to be 100) is now worth 50, a medium (the old 150) is now worth 75, and the far(200 ) is now worth 100. Mad Rolling Eyes I'm not sure if they're going to adjust the scores, but i have an idea as to why the're doing it.

My idea is that they changed the game so that if you hit a plate, you got a score (there have been problems with that). In the process they may have decided to change the scoring.

if anyone really wants to know, they can always email the site.

But the words were said on a piece of paper and mirrored.

I'm looking at the card right now, and it looks like the bak side of a used napkin. I think he was just making notes on whatever scrap of paper he could find. You can see a coffee ring on it as well. And if you look at the front of hte card, there are lots of used mapkins there.

Secret archives of all 4 branches

Being the Lucian that I am, I have managed to infultrate the other branches secret archives. I've gone through them with a fine tooth comb and have posted the information that I think is important. It is in no particular order, sometimes dates are given. If you aren't as Lucian-ish as I am, read no further. Don't uncover the spoilers. But if you really want to know what everyone is up to, read on....

Tomas'

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
One of the current leader's is named Ronald. We haven't met him yet. Hamilton Holt burned down Grace's mansion by playing around with lighter fluid. A Lucian strong hold is in Passy France. McIntyre went there in Nov of 2008. Hendrich Heinrichson is a Tomas. Hamilton Holt's English teacher doesn't think he can read, and he had somehing against Jimmy Littleman in Grade 9. Grace was looking for the Saphire Snake and Ruby Roooster neclases in Madagascar. These were stolen from the personal treasury of Prince Ranier III of Monaco during his coronation ceremony. Garfield Holt believed in 1964 that Grace had a trained pet that does her bidding. They have a meeting place at the Panthenian Stadium in Athens. For some unknow reason Mozart needs Japanese Steel. In 1848 the Tomas' were going to rob the Kansas First National bank. (if it was successful, they didn't get famous for it)

Janus

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Report from Ophir Dhupam has capital letters that form the following sentence: MUST GO! NOT IN THE BALCONY. SEEN ME! Maria Marapao had to go to Venice to get the first edition of Frankenstein at the Il Cranio Sano Bookstore on the Grand Canal. Painted cows throughout New york are drop boxes. Franklin's former home at 36 Craven Street London is now a hotel. Houdini did his Mirror escape at hte Hippodrome Theatre. Lan Nguyen is desperate to help with the clue hunt but doesn't know how to start. The Janus are aware of the Tomas bandits.

Ekaterina

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
John Flamsteed believes Edmond Halley (of comet fame) stole his star map and is a Lucian. He thinks they need to join forces with the Tomas. Marie Curie brought a clue to the states where it was transfered to the Caribbean. They have 3 statues of Sakhet. One from Tut's tomb, one from Hatshepsut's tomb and one from an unknown place. Alistair Oh doesn't want Dan and Amy to die. They take a lot of photo's.

Lucian

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I am not giving you OUR secrets! What do I look like? A Tomas?

I hope this helps you all on your way to finding more clues.

The Fiske Connection

Fiske Cahill was born in 1941 (His mother, Edith, died the same year). His sisters Beatrice 14 & Grace 12 yo at this time. There is some head-scratchin' info in the Gazette. "Cahill Son Mysteriously Disappears" dated May 29, 1962 starts off as false. It suggests James, his father, is still alive. Oops, but James died 3 years before in 1959 (Grace marries Nathanial). There's a big deal about nothing- like adventure trips where Grace excelled & Fiske was scared, making it look like some kind of sibling competition. Let's put Grace at age 16, so Fiske would be 4 yo. Yeah now we can see why Grace excelled & Fiske was scared. Who wouldn't? My big problem with this article is this: Written May 29th, it states "he (Fiske) was last seen leaving his painting studio at 3AM on April 15th (a Sunday). Later we discover "no one noticed his disappearance until May 1st" when police were contacted. Whether it was 2 or 6 weeks later, I would have a hard time remembering the exact day that I last saw for the time an odd guy who doesn't speak to anybody. But this person did, and also, amazingly, remembers the exact hour of 3AM. OK Super Sleuths help me out on this one!
Other stuff about Fiske. He prefers darkness. I remember another who likes darkness- Ch.1,MoB- Wm. McIntyre. Anyway Fiske is an introvert. Kinda strange since he is raised by Grace who is quite the opposite. I believe he is alive so he would be 67 yo. I wonder if he has gray hair & a black suit hanging in a closet somewhere. So where has this guy been & what has he been doing for 46 years? Not much to go on except photos of Fiske & Ned Starling. Yeah the hair styles are alike (it's good to know today's youth still admire men's hair styles of 46 years ago), part their hair the same way, and let their hair flow into their right eye. But's alot more here, but there are angle differences, & 1 color, other B&W. But there is more. If I didn't know better, I thought they looked like brothers when I 1st saw them together. The shape of their heads, upper body frame, then I looked closer at the eye set & eyebrow, the nose, there is just too much to dismiss the possiblity of relative. I'm guessing Fiske is the Starlings Grandfather. Just 1 more thing: all teams have been ID by branch except Amy (Ekat?), Dan(Tomas?) & the Starlings. SO AT THIS TIME, I believe Fiske is alive, the Starlings grandfather, a Madrigal, & the Man in Black. OK, shoot me down, it's happened before, I'm use to it, so it doesn't hurt anymore. I'll just get some tissue, wipe my eyes, smile, & go on having fun with the 39 clues.
